The Research Of Method Of Automatic Level Gauge In Oil Tank

Level data is an important parameter for the acquisition of oil quantity,which is of great significance in both inventory management and custody transfer.In the process of measuring the tank level,the Automatic Level Gauge(ALG)system has many advantages over manual method.While ALG is generally used for monitoring,and is not used for meaningful custody transfer at present.The reason is we don't have systematic and scientific ALG guidance.Based on historical experience,user feedback and ALG manufacturer's recommendations,this paper gives a guidance of ALG use method including ALG accuracy,installation,calibration,verification and so on.This method focuses on how to read ALG data,ALG verification and ALG test qualified judgment.With this method,the operator can scientifically use ALG to perform liquid level reading and periodically make judgement of the accuracy of the ALG readout.From the test data and the measurement performance of ALG,we draw a conclusion that ALG has high accuracy and good stability,and ALG has advantage in measuring the fluctuating liquid surface.
