In recent years,with the advancement of a series of rural domestic sewage treatment work in China,the number of treatment facilities has soared.The treatment facilities have the characteristics of small scale,large number,and highly dispersed geographical locations,which has brought huge challenges to the normal operation and maintenance of treatment facilities.In order to ensure the normal operation of each facilitie,it is urgent to strengthen the operation and maintenance supervision of the facilities in various places.The important thing in operation and maintenance is to monitor various indicators.The flow is one of the most important indicatorsThis study investigated the quality of rural domestic sewage in nine areas of Zhejiang Province.The results showed that rural domestic sewage generally has a certain electrical conductivity.The average conductivity of influent is 695±352 ?s/cm,and the average conductivity of the effluent is 640±346 ?s/cm,which is lower than the influent's.There is a very significant correlation between the conductivity,TN,NH3-N,TPand other indicators of rural domestic sewage.The processing efficiency basically does not affect the correlation of conductivity,TN,NH3-N,but the higher the processing efficiency,the lower the pairwise correlation of the three indicators of TN,TP,and COD.TN is the largest direct path coefficient that affects the conductivity of influent and effluentBased on a sufficient investigation of the quality and discharge characteristics of rural domestic sewage,this study using electrical principles to explore online monitoring methods for rural domestic sewage treatment facilities.A method of online flow monitoring was initially explored,which is mainly divided into two parts:a PAP metering tank and a conductivity level gauge(CLG).The optimal process design conditions of CLG are:the copper electrode specification of measuring electrode is 1mm×10mm×250mm,the acrylic specification is 10mm×10mm×250mm;the copper electrode specification of reference electrode is 1mm×10mm×250mm,the acrylic specification is 10mm×10mm×250mm;the frequency of the AC power supply is 400HZ;the series resistance values is 10kQ.After laboratory calibration,the average relative error of the CLG is 3.49%,and the median measurement error is±0.3cmBased on online flow monitoring method,a prototype of the equipment was developed and applied to field research.Field data show that the prototype can achieve remote online monitoring of daily flow which has good practical application prospects.The field test shows that the electrode measurement adopts the method of discontinuous interval measurement,and the data measurement interval can be optimized to 10min.Discontinuous measurement can improve the service life of the electrode,and it does not affect the accuracy of the measurement resultThis research and development method of online flow monitoring has the characteristics of low price,and in addition to the online flow monitoring function,it also has the possibility of further developing the water quality estimation function,So,this method has certain market development prospects.
