As a traditional Chinese medicine,Scutellaria baicalensis has a wide range of medicinal value. With the development of daily chemicals industry, natural no stimulation has become a new pursuit of people. The main active ingredient of Scutellaria baicalensis is flavonoids and the highest content is baicalin, but its low solubility limits its application in cosmetics.By means of extraction,we obtained extracts of active components of Scutellaria baicalensis. In addition, baicalin was coated in nanoemulsion for polyglutamic acid microencapsulation, and the formulation composition and preparation technology of microencapsulated nanoemulsion were studied. The stable microencapsulated baicalin nanoemulsion was obtained, which expanded the application of baicalin in cosmetics and provided a new idea for the application of functional insoluble plant polyphenols. The main research contents are as follows:At first, the best solvent for the solubility of baicalin in ethanol, glycerol, ethylene glycol, propylene glycol,1,3-butadiene alcohol and PEG400 was selected as the extraction medium, and the content of baicalin in the extract was used as the measure index to investigate the influence factors of powder quality, ultrasonic time, single flash extraction time and the number of flash extraction times in the extract under the best conditions, and the antioxidant capacity of the extract was investigated.Secondlly, the effects of formulation composition and preparation technology on the formation and stability of microencapsulated baicalin nanoemulsion were studied.Among them, the composition of the factors include: emulsifier type, emulsifier compound;-polyglutamic acid, emulsifier content, polyglutamic acid content, water phase p H,inorganic salt.Considering the appearance of emulsion, observation result of microscope, particle size,PDI and UV absorption properties, the optimum preparation process is as follows: Mix hydrogenated lecithin, octanoic acid/decanoic acid triglyceride with 0.5% baicalin glycol solution as oil phase and heat to 80°C;The polyglutamate was magnetically stirred in deionized water for 30 min and heated to 80°C as an aqueous phase; The oil phase was slowly added to the water phase and homogenized at 15,500 rpm/min for 1 min;The microencapsulated baicalin nanoemulsion was obtained by ultrasonication of the probe for 10 min(ultrasonication 5 s,interval 5 s,power 225 W),stirred at 400 rpm/min and cooled to room temperature. Finally, the structure characterization and performance analysis of microencapsulated baicalin nanoemulsions were carried out,the formation of nanoemulsions was characterized by microscope observation, particle size and PDI,and the microencapsulated structure of polyglutamate was formed on the surface of nanoemulsions.
