The Bamboo West oil field in the 124 th district of Sudan is a strong bottom water reservoir whose natural water body has sufficient energy.It has entered a high water cut period,with the problem of bottom water coning fast,a large reservoir productivity difference,poor utilization of the low-yield layer,a large contradiction between different layers,rapid decline in daily oil production,rapid increase in water content,.This oil field is urging to optimize the development method to improve the development of oilfields.Based on the structural characteristics,reservoir characteristics and fluid characteristics of the Bamboo West,this paper analyzes oilfield production dynamics and adjustment measures,summarizes the production characteristics of vertical and horizontal wells and the causes of high water cut in oil wells,and understands the oilfield development performance.To better serve the development and adjustment research,numerical simulation technology is applied to establish a numerical model of the Bamboo West,and build a typical single well model based on a good historical fitting,that will help analyze the influence of factors such as water avoidance height,perforation opening degree,interlayer length,interlayer thickness,liquid rate and horizontal well length on the water invade in the development of strong bottom water reservoirs,and provide theoretical guidance to the following.Then based on the history fitting,the distribution characteristics and development potential of remaining oil in Bamboo West oilfield are studied.The distribution of remaining oil in vertical and plane is described.The remaining oil potential is quantitatively characterized,and five kinds of surplus are summarized.On the basis of this,combined with the law of water intrusion and control factors,the basic scheme,the adjustment of the perforation scheme,the infill vertical well scheme,the horizontal well scheme are proposed.And the numerical simulation method is used to predict the development indicators 20 years later under different schemes,select the best solution and guide for the development of the next Bamboo West oilfield development plan.
