The long-distance gas pipelines partly pass through the cold area.In order to test the toughness of the pipeline material at low temperature,it is necessary to carry out the full-scale blasting test of the pipeline at a low temperature,filling the pipeline with low-temperature natural gas,and forming a high pressure to break the pipeline.In this paper,according to the requirements of the full-scale blasting test field of the gas pipeline,the research on the gas cooling scheme in the pipeline was carried out.Three simulation schemes of throttling refrigeration,expander refrigeration and external refrigeration were simulated by the process simulation software.The combined refrigeration of the final compressor and the external refrigeration unit was determined by comparison analysis.SPS was used to simulate three different geothermal,compressor power and cooling power conditions,and the time required to form the test state was calculated.According to the determined experimental scheme,preliminary selection of equipment such as compressors and heat exchangers was carried out,and investment estimation was carried out.Through this research,under the conditions of the existing test site,the natural gas injection and refrigeration can be relatively smoothly realized to the state of 12 MPa and-15 °C as specified in the test conditions.It takes 7-8 days to inflate to 12 MPa.After starting the refrigeration cycle,the whole process takes 11-12 days.Centrifugal compressors and shell-and-tube heat exchangers are used for this test.Construction investment is 14.63226 million yuan.
