Propionic acid and its derivatives with sterilization and other effects,and almost harmless to humans and animals,commonly used as food additives,storage of feed protection agent,but also synthetic herbicides and cellulose propionate plastic important raw materials.China's propionic acid production is small,in short supply,dependent on imports,but China's methanol carbonylation synthesis of acetic acid has been achieved industrialization,and in the industrial production process waste liquid in a large number of propionic acid generation.The results show that the production of propionic acid in ethanol and ethyl acetate in the process of carbonylation of methanol is the occurrence of propionic acid in the market.The price of propionic acid is much higher than that of acetic acid.In order to improve the economic efficiency of the process,Propionic acid is of great significance.In order to improve the production of propionic acid in the production of acetic acid,the synthesis of acetic acid in the production of acetic acid by carbonylation of methanol was studied in order to improve the production of acetic acid.Economic benefits.In this paper,the technological conditions and reaction kinetics of the synthesis of propionic acid in the intermittent stirred high pressure reactor of zirconium and zirconium were studied.The most suitable reaction conditions were determined as follows: 10 g of ethyl iodide as a cosidizer,5 g of 5 g of hydrogen iodide and lithium iodide as additive,5 g of ethyl acetate,5g of water in the catalyst 0.1g,pressure 4MPa,temperature 180 ?,speed 150 r / min under the conditions of ethyl acetate conversion rate of 92.3%,propionic acid and propionate combined selectivity of 90.12%,in the Under these conditions,the kinetic equation of the reaction is obtained to obtain the rate equation of the reaction stabilization stage.Ethyl acetate as a substitute for ethanol as raw materials,reducing the alcohol in the acidic conditions of esterification and intermolecular dehydration and other side effects,significantly increased propionic acid yield.Has a good industrial application prospects.Aspen Plus software was used on the basis of the kinetic data obtained,for the preparation of propionic acid and the subsequent separation process in the process of simulation,get the appropriate conditions for: reaction kettle temperature was 190 ?,pressure was 4.0 Mpa,theory of T1 tower full series of 10,reflux ratio of 0.76,feed position for the 6 boards,T2 full series of 20 tower theory,reflux ratio,11,feed position for 10 boards.The purity of propionic acid can reach 99.9% in this condition.
