Alkali-activated cementitious materials have the advantages of low energy consumption,less pollutant discharge and high strength compared with ordinary Portland cement.However,compared with ordinary Portland cement,alkali-activated cementitious materials represented by alkali-activated slag have such problems as too fast setting time and large drying shrinkage,which limit the large-scale application of alkali-activated cementitious materials.On the other hand,the current research on tungsten tailings recycling and large-scale utilization mainly focuses on the use of tungsten tailings as admixture of ordinary concrete or as cementing material after physical/chemical activation,but there are problems such as low strength,high cost and complex process.To this end,in this article,for the two main types of industrial solid waste in Hunan Hengyang area,slag and fine grain tungsten tailings,we carried out the preparation and related performance studies of alkali-stimulated slag foaming materials mixed with fine grain tungsten tailing,on the one hand,it is proposed to use alkali to stimulate the high-strength characteristics of slag materials to digest a large amount of fine grain tungsten tailing,on the other hand,consider the characteristics of fine grain tungsten tailings,adjust the setting time of alkali-activated slag materials,and try to use the skeleton effect of fine grain tungsten tailings to reduce the drying shrinkage of alkali-activated slag materials.On this basis,preparation of fine grain tungsten tailings alkali-activated slag foaming material to achieve comprehensive high value-added utilization of slag and fine grain tungsten tailings.The main research contents and conclusions of this article are as follows:(1)Research on characteristics of fine grain tungsten tailings and slag raw materialsDue to the differences in industrial solid waste discharged by different places and different processes,this paper first characterizes the chemical composition and phase composition of fine grain tungsten tailings and slag.The analysis found that the fine grain tungsten tailings have high silicon and aluminum content,the phase composition is mainly quartz,and the chemical properties are stable;the slag is a high-calcium slag,mainly a glass phase,and has high activity,so that the use of two materials to prepare alkali-activated cementing materials certain feasibility.(2)Study on preparation and properties of alkali activated slag material doped with fine grain tungsten tailingsFine grain tungsten tailings were mixed into alkali-activated slag materials,and the effects of fine-grained tungsten tailings content,exciter content and exciter modulus on the performance of fine grain tungsten tailings alkali-activated slag materials were studied.Through the test,the optimal ratio of alkali-activated slag materials with fine grain tungsten tailings is determined as follows: the content of fine grain tungsten tailings is 40%,the content of the activator is 25%,and the modulus of the activator is 1.2.The compressive strength of 28 d reached 86.13 MPa,and it was found that the addition of 40% fine grain tungsten tailings has a good effect on suppressing the drying shrinkage of alkali-activated slag.(3)Study on preparation and performance of alkali activated slag foaming material doped with fine grain tungsten tailingsThe preparation at a relatively optimal proportion of mixed fine grain tungsten tailings alkali excitation slag materials as substrates,respectively to join aluminium powder and hydrogen peroxide as chemical foaming agent,the preparation of mixed fine grain tungsten tailings alkali slag foaming material excited,mainly study in different foaming system,dosage of foaming agent,stable foam agent dosage,the influence of water-binder ratio on alkali excitation foaming material performance.According to different requirements,a series of fine particle tungsten tailings alkali excited slag foaming materials with different properties were prepared by controlling the types,content and water-binder ratio of foaming agent and foam stabilizer.
