Wettability is the core of many biological processes and many engineering and industrial technologies.Super-hydrophilicity is an extreme case in which water can quickly diffuse and completely wet the surface to form a thin film on the surface.When the super-hydrophilic coating passes through the material,an aqueous film is formed on the surface to prevent the contaminants and at the same time,the surface contaminants can be taken away under the scouring of water to achieve a self-cleaning effect.The superhydrophilic coating has high surface energy,poor durability,and cannot be used in harsh conditions.Significant breakthrough has not been made yet.Therefore,the development of durable,and high-performance super-hydrophilic coatings has both high scientific research value and commercial value.This paper builds a super-hydrophilic system by constructing a high surface energy surface and surface roughness.Two-dimensional layered zirconium phosphate materials not only have the common characteristics of general layered compounds,but also have regular structure and designability,and can be used as the host and guest molecules inserted between the host layers.The organic ammonium salt represented by tetrabutylammonium hydroxide can exfoliate layered zirconium phosphate,and the excess ammonium salt can form a polar surface on the surface of zirconium phosphate due to a large number of hydroxyl groups.The prepared coating is super-hydrophilic and has a very good light transmittance(97%).The experiments also explored the effects of the size of zirconium phosphate,the ratio of the intercalating agent,the type of intercalating agent on the surface morphology of intercalation composite coating.Besides,the anti-fogging properties of the superhydrophilic coating have been tested.It was found that the coating can prevent water droplets from gathering and reduce light scattering.The preparation process of superhydrophilic coatings with surface microstructure is simple and,no need for external stimulation.It is of great significance in the field of wettability and many practical applications.
