Inventory Management Optimization Of Manufacturing Project Of HB Fishing Rod Research

With the deepening of division of labor between enterprises and the expansion of production networks,inventory management has become one of the key factors affecting the efficiency of production networks.Traditional extensive management is no longer suitable for the development of manufacturing enterprises.Advanced scientific inventory management not only enables enterprises to operate efficiently and continuously in production scheduling,but also effectively reduces costs.Moreover,it will increase the company’s net profit,directly related to the company’s profitability.Therefore,enterprises must improve the inventory management methods,to strengthen the supply chain management,improve the input-output efficiency of enterprises.There are a lot of literature on inventory management,but how to combine with China’s conditions,it is an urgent problem to introduce the advanced management concept into the inventory management of enterprises when the supply chain is uncertain and the market demand fluctuates greatly.HB Fishing Tackle Company is a modern manufacturing enterprise.The inventory management method is currently backward.The traditional inventory management method is adopted,compared with the same industry,inventory costs have been high.This thesis takes the inventory management of HB Fishing Tackle Company as the research object and adopts advanced inventory management concepts and methods to improve the management level of the company.On the basis of systematic review of relevant literature on inventory management at home and abroad,this thesis analyzes the current situation of inventory management in HB Fishing Tackle Company through field investigation.Through statistical analysis of data,it is found that there are problems in inventory management in HB Fishing Tackle Company,such as high inventory cost,shortage in production and lack of communication between project teams.Based on the theory of inventory management,the thesis analyzes that the root of the problem lies in the lack of effective inventory management strategy,the lack of the concept of coordinated management with supply chain,and the lack of accurate prediction of inventory demand,so the adverse effect of bullwhip effect is magnified.The thesis establishes a multiple regression model that identify the selling market characteristics that lead to large inventory fluctuations.There are the moving average method,exponential smoothing method and sales rate forecasting method to compare and find out the most accurate forecast of demand.Combining ABC taxonomy inventory management concepts and JIT strategies with own problems and characteristics of HB Fishing Tackle Company,make inventorymanagement and rectification plan,and even implement effective inventory management measures.Finally,strengthening coordination and management between project teams,the company’s inventory organization framework is reconstructed,and the ERP information management system is established to ensure the smooth implementation of the project inventory management plan.The research results have improved the inventory management efficiency of HB Fishing Tackle Company,and have some enlightening value to the similar enterprises’ inventory management practice.
