In the context of efficient use of mineral resources,formulating a scientific and effective ore blending plan is the key to use limited mineral resources continuously and improve the economic benefits of mining enterprises reasonably.The original production plan optimization method for a single mineral species can only achieve the optimization goal of a single mineral resource.It couldn’t meet the actual needs of comprehensive utilization and refined mining of multi-mineral mining enterprises.Therefore,it is very important and urgent to study the optimization of comprehensive ore blending plan for polymetallic open-pit mines.Open-pit mine blending optimization technology is gradually developing in the direction of being scientific,efficient and refined.This paper focuses on the problem of open-pit mines ore blending and its optimization methods,which mainly includes the following aspects:(1)Aiming at the problem of ore blending optimization,analyze the current status of domestic and foreign mine research from two perspectives of ore matching model and optimization method.On this basis,the problems and deficiencies of the current research are summarized.The study of modeling and solving the multi-objective production planning optimization problem is an urgent need for the comprehensive utilization of refined mineral resources and refined production scheduling in multi-metal surface mines.(2)On the basis of the previous research on the ore blending production plan,the characteristics and principles of the ore blending are analyzed.Considering the production conditions such as multiple elements,multiple ore points andmultiple unloading points,A multi-objective production planning model is established based on the minimum metal grade deviation and production cost.It takes a variety of factors such as ore output,mining and processing capacity,extraction rate and oxidation rate and etc into account.The short-term refined ore blending model matches the actual production of polymetallic mines(3)According to the high-dimensional,non-linear and complex characteristics of the proposed ore blending model,an optimization method for ore blending plan based on Hybrid Particle Grey Wolf Optimization(HPGWO)algorithm is put forward,which combines the advantages of these two algorithms.The PSO algorithm,the GWO algorithm and the HPGWO algorithm are used to optimize the benchmark test function.The results show that the HPGWO algorithm has a better solution effect compared to the former two.The results show that the HPGWO algorithm has a better solution effect than the others.In order to verify the effectiveness of the HPGWO algorithm in solving actual production problems,it was finally used to solve the problem of ore blending production plan with a single unloading site.The results Verifies the effectiveness and operability of the ore blending method.(4)Aiming at the actual production needs of the L open pit mine in Henan Province,the proposed HPGWO algorithm optimization method of ore blending is applied into the open pit mine.and the ore distribution plan is solved based on the ore distribution data collected by its intelligent management and control platform.Aiming at the actual production needs of the L open pit mine in Henan Province,the optimization method of ore blending based on the HPGWO algorithm is applied to this polymetallic open pit mine.According to the ore blending data collected by its intelligent management and control platform,the ore blending plan is solved.Comparing the results with the actual production operation plan,the results show that ore output of the former increased,and the transportation cost was reduced by 4.63%.In addition,the grade fluctuation was reduced to 3.38% and the mine recovery rate after optimization reached 95.14%.The ore blending optimization method realizes the coordinated mining production of multiple elements,multiple ore points and multiple unloading points,which meets the production needs of the mine.The research provides new methods and solutions for blending optimization,which have important guiding significance for the comprehensive utilization of various mineral resources as well as fine-distribution in open-pit mining enterprises and achieve sustainable development.
