Mill rigidity refers to the ability of the mill frame to bear the huge rolling force in the rolling process.At present,the calculation method of rolling mill stiffness in our country is mainly to use the data measured by the pressure and displacement sensors connected to the rolling mill in the process of roll gap calibration in the Excel software for linear fitting.It is one of the main problems that how to collect the data in the process of roll gap calibration in real time and how to calculate automatically and how to improve the rigidity accuracy of rolling mill.Based on TCP socket communication,this paper puts forward a solution of automatic,intelligent and fast data acquisition system for rolling mill roll gap calibration process,and develops a data acquisition system for rolling mill roll gap calibration process based on Linux system and OPC UA.It can realize the real-time collection of the data in the field calibration process of roll changing,the wavelet analysis and de-noising of the collected data signals,the real-time storage of the stiffness results to the database,and the periodic presentation of the stiffness data and the real-time transmission of the cloud and other functions.First of all,this paper takes QT as the main development object environment and adopts the object-oriented method to realize the programming language development idea.This paper uses open62541 library to develop OPC UA client which can run on Linux system,designs monitoring page and stiffness management database system,and realizes the connection between OPC server and client running on non Windows platform.Then according to the characteristics of the collected data,we use Python’s data processing ability to filter and calculate the stiffness data,and carry on the wavelet analysis and noise reduction processing to it,and achieve the expected effect after the test.At the end of this paper,the startup and communication flow of Linux system is discussed.According to the requirements of the software and hardware running environment,the Linux serial port driver file of the sending device is compiled and the database system is designed.Through the research of this paper,the data acquisition system of rolling mill roll gap calibration process replaces the traditional way of manual calculation of rolling mill stiffness.The de-noising of the data signal in the process of roll gap calibration by wavelet analysis makes the data signal and the calculated rigidity more accurate.At present,the system has been basically completed,after debugging and testing,basically meet the needs of the site.
