Solid particles can be used as stabilizers to stabilize the polyphase system.Pickering emulsion and liquid marbles are both polyphase systems stabilized by solid particles.This paper mainly studies these two systems.Liquid marbles,with hydrophobic particles to stabilize the gas-liquid interface,form a solid coated droplets of soft material,with non-wetting characteristics;Relatively speaking,liquid marbles have a shorter discovery time,and most research is currently in the laboratory stage,the main research is on the properties of liquid marbles,and there are still a few studies that use liquid marbles in actual production,such as the preparation and research of solid perfumes.Another multiphase system stabilized by solid particles is Pickering emulsion,which stabilizes the oil-water interface with solid particles.Compared with traditional surfactant-stabilized emulsions,using solid particles to stabilize emulsions is greener and environmentally friendly,and the emulsions formed are more stable.At present,the research on the properties of Pickering emulsion has been relatively mature,and researchers mainly study.its application in practical production,such as the application of moisturizing lotion,drug targeted release,fire-extinguishing materials,etc.In this paper,liquid marbles are mainly prepared for the study of formaldehyde and self-sensing;Pickering emulsion is prepared to study its application in wastewater treatment and drug sustained release.First,10-50 ?L of liquid marbles were prepared for sensing different concentrations of formaldehyde.The results showed that for the same volume of liquid marbles,the greater the formaldehyde concentration,the more obvious the marble induction phenomenon;for the same concentration of formaldehyde,the marble volume had no effect on the induction phenomenon.In addition,a self-sensing liquid marble with a core of Triton-100 solution was prepared,the relationship between the stability time of the marble and the concentration of Triton was studied,and the mechanism of the effect of Triton-100 on the stability of the marble was speculated.The stabilization time of the marbles was recorded by the camera;the solid particles on the surface of the liquid beads were observed through theoretical calculations and SEM,which proved that there were multiple layers of hydrophobic silica particles adsorbed on the surface of the marbles;the surface tension of the marbles was measured by the capillary method,the results showed that the surface tension of the marble was almost unchanged at the moment of rupture.Acid,alkali and indicator liquid marbles were prepared for timed bonding reaction between marblesSecondly,o/w Pickering emulsion was prepared with soybean oil as oil phase and calcium carbonate as stabilizer for the removal of cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide(CTAB).Microscope was used to observe the morphology of the Pickering emulsion.Comparing the absorption effect of calcium carbonate and the emulsion for CTAB,we found that the emulsion absorption effect was better than the absorption of calcium carbonate,The effects of the amount of calcium carbonate during the preparation of the emulsion,the absorption temperature,and the initial concentration of CTAB on the absorption effect were studied.The results showed that the bigger amount of calcium carbonate and higher temperature are benefit to the absorption of CTAB,The absorption CTAB of the prepared emulsion was reused,and the absorption effect of the emulsion became worse with the increase of the use times.Finally,Pickering emulsion stabilized with calcium carbonate was used as template to prepare the gel for the sustained release of curcumin.The effects of emulsion preparation and gel preparation on the sustained release of curcumin were studied.The results showed that when the ratio of alcohol to water in the sustained release agent was 4:6,the amount of calcium carbonate in the emulsion was 0.4 g,and the concentration of sodium alginate was 0.25 wt%during the preparation of the gel,the sustained release effect of curcumin was the best,with the maximum sustained release rate reaching over 90%.
