Bamboo has the advantages of short growth cycle,excellent performance and abundant resources.It can be used as a substitute for wood to alleviate the current shortage of wood resources in China.The geopolymer derived from industrial production waste has green environmental protection,no aldehyde release and excellent performance.And other advantages,it is a potential wood bamboo inorganic adhesive.Therefore,the use of geopolymers as an adhesive to glue bamboo materials can achieve the complementary advantages of the two,and produce geopolymer/bamboo composite materials with no aldehyde release,strong flame retardancy and good weather resistance.Because geopolymers are alkaline materials,it is easy to cause alkaline degradation of bamboo materials.At the same time,because organic bamboo materials and inorganic geopolymers are polar and non-polar substances,the interface compatibility of the two materials after composite will be more Poor,making the bonding strength of geopolymer and bamboo material lower,affecting the application of geopolymer/bamboo composite materials.In order to improve the bonding properties of geopolymer cemented bamboo,this paper first uses a single factor method to analyze the ratio of geopolymer adhesive ratio factors such as alkali activator modulus,alkali-cement ratio and solid content to the geopolymer cemented bamboo.The effect of the bonding strength optimizes the raw material formulation and preparation process of the geopolymer adhesive;using different concentrations of KH550,KH560 and KH570 coupling agents and CaCl2 solution to treat the bamboo surface,and then preparing the geopolymer cemented bamboo,by using Contact angle,surface infrared spectroscopy and scanning electron microscope are used to characterize the wettability,functional groups and microstructure of the treated bamboo surface,and analyze the effect of surface treatment on the bamboo surface characteristics and bonding strength,so as to analyze the mechanism of surface treatment on the bonding strength.Research indicates:1.The gluing properties of the geopolymer cemented bamboo prepared under the condition of alkali activator modulus of 1.9,alkali-cement ratio of 1.7 and solid content of 82.80% in the system are the best.The strength is 1.71MPa;2.After treatment with a certain concentration of silane coupling agent,the contact angle of bamboo has been improved,and the surface roughness has been improved.The silane coupling agent used can make the gluing properties of geopolymer bonded bamboo Significant improvement,when the KH550 concentration is 1.5%,the dry bonding strength of the geopolymer glued bamboo material reaches a maximum of 4.72MPa;3.After the surface treatment of different concentrations of CaCl2 solution can improve the bonding performance of the test piece.When the concentration of CaCl2 solution is 1.0%,the dry bonding strength of the geopolymer glued bamboo material reaches a maximum of 3.57 MPa.This research provides a certain research basis and technical means for improving the adhesive properties of bamboo wood bonded by inorganic adhesives,and also expands new ideas for the development of geopolymer/bamboo wood composites.
