Lignin is a promising alternative fuel that works with advanced combustion methods make fossil energy safer and help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and minimize fuel consumption.Anisole,a oxygen-containing molecular fuel,is used as a second-generation alternative fuel, and a small amount is added to the diesel fuel, which can effectively reduce the soot and PAHs generation during the combustion process. In order to explore the trend of soot formation in the second-generation biomass fuel, anisole was added to n-heptane as the object,in this paper,n-heptane that similar to diesel fuel with cetane number is used as the base fuel. The proportion of anisole was mixed as a research object, and its soot formation and oxidation process was studied in the co-flow diffusion flame. The soot volume fraction in the flame is measured by optical methods such as Line Of Sight Attenuation and Laser Induced Incandescence, and the oxygen content of the anisole, fuel flowrate, carrier gas flowrate, etc, the influence of above factors on the soot generation of fuel combustiona re quantitatively analyzed by measuring the soot volume fraction, the reasonable proportion of carrier gas fuel mixture was determined, and the effect of high pressure conditional download gas flowrate and pressure on the formation of soot in the flame was studied. The experimental results were obtained in the mixed fuel.Anisole promotes the formation of soot during fuel combustion, and this promotion increases with the increase in the content of anisole, although the oxygen content of the fuel has the effect of inhibiting the formation of soot.Whether the fuel flowrate under high pressure or normal pressure promotes soot production, the fuel flowrate is almost linearly increasing with the soot volume fraction.Above one atmosphere,it is difficult to control the carrier gas flowrate to maintain the flame within the laser detectable range. In the case of different carrier gas fuel mixing ratios, the flame height and soot production will decrease with increasing pressure. Moreover, the rate of decline is faster in the initial stage of high pressure.
