Titanium alloy frame is widely used in the field of aviation.This type of titanium alloy forging is used for the first time in a certain type of machine.In the trial production,free forging process is selected at first,and die forging is selected to better meet the product requirements after batch production.In order to determine the appropriate die forging process parameters,reduce the waste and cost,and better meet the quality requirements of forgings,the simulation analysis is carried out in this paper.The forging process of TC21 titanium alloy is analyzed by the meta DEFORM-3D software,and the forming law of die forging is summarized according to the results.The results can provide support for the die forging process design of TC21 titanium alloy frame,and also provide reference for the research in this field.The research contents and results of this paper are as follows:The process of forging Rigid viscoplastic model,simplified to plastic deformation forging rigid viscoplastic,Analysis of plastic deformation-heat-Analysis of Thermal Deformation coupled.The effects of different strains and temperatures on the isothermal upsetting process of TC21 titanium alloy under different strains and temperatures were analyzed by finite element software simulation.The distribution of temperature and equivalent strain field under various process parameters was determined and compared And determine the appropriate process parameters.The specific analysis of the part drawings and related technical documents,and according to the characteristics of the titanium alloy frame,through CATIA software to design the forging blank,die.The forming characteristics of quasi ? forging are analyzed in detail,and then the appropriate parameters such as deformation speed,die material and lubrication form are set based on the simulation results,which can provide reference for the process design of this kind of forging.Based on DEFORM-3D software,the quasi ? forging process of this titanium alloy frame is simulated and analyzed,the influence of forging parameters on forging quality is discussed,and the best parameters are determined by comparison.The results show that the forging speed of 400 MN die forging hydraulic press is 5mm / s,the temperature of die is 300 ?,and the forging effect is very good under the lubrication condition of water-based graphite and ti-7 lubricant.The forging quality is good and the deformation structure is even,which can provide support for the development of aircraft.
