In recent years,as China’s economic slows down,the competition in the iron and steel industry goes more and more Fierce.The transition from the low-end products boutique galvanized plate production of high-grade,high value-added especially with galvanized steel plate for automobile,has become an inevitable choice for enterprises to survive in the production of galvanized plate.The 4 galvanizing line of An Steel,the initial design of the product positioning are for low-end market building,with Inadequate equipment capacity,can not produce high grade galvanized plate with better surface quality.So they has been unable to adapt to the fierce competition in today’s market situation.In this case,Anshan intends to upgrade greatly on process equipment 4# galvanizing line,and enhance the ability of product positioning units,mainly for high-end home appliances,automotive galvanized plate market,enhance the competitiveness of steel galvanized products.In this paper,the principle and development history of hot dip galvanizing technology are reviewed briefly,and the development trend of hot dip galvanizing technology at home and abroad is discussed.Next,this paper analyzes the overall process flow,core equipment and respective functions of anshan iron and steel 4# galvanizing unit.In the hot dip galvanizing process flow,the cleaning effect of the cleaning process before plating has a decisive impact on the quality of galvanized final steel surface.However,the cleaning process section of anshan 4# galvanized line has been faced with the problems of insufficient cleaning capacity and poor cleaning effect,which seriously restricted the quality improvement of the final surface galvanized.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to improve the surface quality of galvanized products by improving the cleaning ability of the cleaning process section of 4# galvanized line.This paper studies the principle of galvanized cleaning process,through the research of angang unit 4 # galvanized cleaning process equipment composition and the function of each module,analyzed the key factors of cleaning effect,find out the unit restriction factors existing in current period of unit cleaning process mainly are : falling off of the bristles,medium temperature,brush roller lift adjustment difficulties,poor drying ability and lack of medium filtering system.Through optimization design to improve the unit equipment processing capacity,reduce and eliminate the influence of cleaning process section adverse factors,and finally achieve the cleaning effect of the strip surface.After the transformation,we through production tracking and data sampling and analysis,verify that the cleaning process parameters to achieve the expected goal of the reform,the quality of galvanized products has also been a qualitative improvement,significantly enhance the competitiveness of Anshan Iron and steel galvanized products.
