In order to reduce the pollution of cutting fluid to the environment,based on the idea of minimizing the use of cutting fluid,this paper puts forward the lubrication concept of micro-texture continuous friction reduction tool.Using a cutting fluid supply system,the cutting fluid is directly sent to the tool through the micro channel The friction area of the blade surface,and the micro-texture distributes the cutting fluid evenly in the friction area of the rake surface,which effectively improves the lubrication effect.The friction zone of the rake face of the tool was determined by trial cutting and calculation.Four shapes of microtextures were designed according to the principle of tribology.The influence of microtextures of different parameters on the tool stress distribution was analyzed using finite element analysis software.The MT tool is used as an example to determine the optimal parameters of the microtexture: the depth of the microtexture H = 100?m,the spacing L = 300?m,and the width of the texture B =80?m.Carbide cutting tools of YG8 and YT5 materials were analyzed with respect to cutting performance,cutting force,cutting chip contact length,cutting chip morphology,tool wear area and average friction coefficient of rake face.Among them,YG8 cemented carbide tools used(TD,TW,TM,T-VT,T-PT1,T-PT2 and T-MT)seven ways to cut cast iron.Through the analysis of experimental data,it was found that four types of micro-textured tools(T-VT,T-PT1,T-PT2 and T-MT)can effectively improve cutting performance.YT5 cemented carbide tools use(TD,TW,T-VT and T-MT)to cut 45# steel in four ways.Through the analysis of experimental data,the two micro-textured tools(T-VT,T-MT)are significantly improved Cutting performance.The lubrication mechanism of micro-texture continuous anti-friction tool isanalyzed.During the cutting process,the micro-texture continuous anti-friction tool can send the cutting fluid into the contact area of the cuttings and be evenly distributed on the rake face through the micro texture.The micro-texture significantly reduces the contact length of the cuttings.The cutting fluid reduces the shear strength of the cutting contact area of the rake face,reduces the cutting force,and reduces the wear area of the rake face of the tool.
