Electrocatalytic reactions are the core of energy storage and conversion devices,which mainly include hydrogen evolution reaction?HER?,oxygen evolution reaction?OER?and oxygen reduction reaction?ORR?,but the kinetics of these reactions are sluggish,thus an efficient catalyst is in urgently to accelerate these reactions.In this paper,we used melamine sponge as the carbon skeleton to prepare a carbon-based transition metal composite material and investigate its application in the field of electrocatalysis.The specific results are as follows:1.Nitrogen-doped carbon material denoting as FeCo-TA@CMS embedded with iron-cobalt alloy nanoparticles was prepared by high-temperature carbonization,which was using melamine sponge as the carbon skeleton,tannic acid as the chelating agent,ferric chloride hexahydrate and cobalt chloride hexahydrate as the bimetallic source.The materials were characterized by means of XRD,SEM,TEM,XPS,Raman and BET.2.The HER performances of FeCo-TA@CMS were tested under alkaline conditions.The results show that the overpotential is 233 mV with the current density of 10 mA cm-2,and it shows good stability after 1000 cycles of continuous tests.The double layer capacitance(Cdl)derived from the electrochemical active area?ECSA?is41.1 mF cm-2,indicating its high activity towards HER.3.The OER performances of FeCo-TA@CMS were tested under alkaline conditions.The results show that the overpotential is 380 mV with the current density of 10 mA cm-2,and its delivers good stability after 1000 cycles of continuous tests.The performance of FeCo-TA@CMS is similar to that of RuO2.4.The ORR performances of FeCo-TA@CMS were tested under alkaline conditions.The results show that FeCo-TA@CMS has excellent ORR activity and methanol resistance,its open circuit potential and half-wave potential are 0.95 V and0.83 V,respectively,and the limiting current density is close to that of 20 wt%Pt/C The stability is excellent after nearly 12 hours of testing.
