Through the analysis of the failure mode of Banded V-belts,the basic causes of the failure of Banded V-belts are clarified,and the service life of Banded V-belts is improved by optimizing the structure of the vulcanization moulds,the design and optimization of the formula and the raw materials from the force situation of Banded V-belts in the course of operation and the structure analysis of Banded V-belts,through the design of the vulcanization moulds,the design and optimization of the formula,the raw materials and so on.Thus,the high performance of the Banded V-belts can be realized.The results show that in the main rubber with Chloroprene rubber as Banded V-belts,the heat resistance and thermal oxygen aging resistance of Banded V-belts are effectively improved by using carbon nanotubes with high thermal conductivity and high performance protection system.The high modulus and low shrinkage polyester fiber cord or aramid fiber cord is used as the bone material of high performance Banded V-belts,which effectively improves the dimensional stability of Banded V-belts,and makes the performance of Banded V-belts more stable under the action of impact stress.The wide angle polyester and cotton fabric with 50% cotton content is selected as the surface fabric,which not only improves the bending resistance of Banded V-belts,but also improves the adhesion between the outer package fabric and the cushion layer and the compression layer of Banded V-belts,which makes Banded V-belts have better performance.As the weight torsional belt of a single transmission belt in the Banded V-belts,the dry and thermal shrinkage performance of Banded V-belts will directly affect the installation and service life of Banded V-belts.In order to further improve the dimensional stability of Banded V-belts,the high performance Banded V-belts uses high modulus and low shrinkage polyester tyre cord,which effectively reduces the transverse shrinkage of Banded V-belts.In order to ensure the dimensional stability of Banded V-belts,we have developed a kind of high performance Banded V-belts by using a series of designs,research and experiments.The service life of Banded V-belts reaches the same level as that of the imported products,and the use of high modulus and low shrinkage polyester cord and tyre cord with more stable size improves the dimensional stability of Banded V-belts and reduces the deformation of Banded V-belt S under the action of stress,and the adhesive materials are added to improve the bonding strength between the cushion layer and the bone material or with the joint layer.The addition of high thermal conductivity carbon nanotubes and high performance antioxidant avoids the excessive aging of Banded V-belts caused by the heat generation and improves the service life of Banded V-belts.
