As a traditional building material,cement concrete has the natural advantage of high compressive strength,but the contradiction between high strength and high embrittlement limits the development and application of concrete.Rubber particles or rubber powder mixed into the concrete after grinding waste rubber tires can improve the brittle properties of concrete and improve the deformation capacity of concrete.However,the incorporation of rubber particles resulted in a significant decrease in concrete strength.If the steel fiber is added into the rubber concrete,it can play the role of the steel fiber on the rubber concrete crack resistance and strengthen,reduce the brittle and toughen,improve the concrete strength due to the addition of rubber powder.In this paper,the ordinary C30 concrete(C)with 5%,10%,15%,20% dosage of rubber particles such as replacement of fine aggregate volume made of rubber concrete(RC),based on the rubber concrete,concrete,respectively,the additive volume at a rate of 0.5%,1.0%,1.5% of steel fiber reinforced rubber made from the steel fiber concrete(SFRRC),through the basic mechanics performance test and permeability test,studied the basic mechanical properties of steel fiber reinforced rubber concrete and permeability resistance.The results show that:(1)the incorporation of rubber particles significantly reduces the mechanical strength of concrete,but improves the brittleness of concrete to a certain extent.The failure of rubber concrete shows plastic characteristics.The addition of steel fiber into rubber concrete further improves the brittleness of concrete.(2)the incorporation of steel fiber contributes to the improvement of mechanical properties of rubber concrete.The compressive strength of steel fiber to rubber concrete cubeand axial compressive strength has been improved but the range is limited.The splitting tensile strength and bending strength of rubber concrete are obviously increased by steel fiber.(3)the addition of rubber particles will reduce the elastic modulus of concrete,and the addition of steel fiber will increase the static elastic modulus of rubber concrete,but the elastic modulus of steel fiber rubber concrete is lower than that of ordinary concrete,which indicates that steel fiber rubber concrete has better toughness than ordinary concrete.(4)the addition of rubber particles can improve the impermeability of concrete.Steel fiber is added into rubber concrete.For rubber concrete with volume substitution rate of 5%and 10% rubber,the water seepage height decreases significantly after the addition of steel fiber,indicating that the impermeability of concrete is enhanced significantly.
