Research And Design Of Lactation Seat Based On INPD

With release of the "universal two-child policy",the number of newborns in China has become large,but the rate of breastfeeding is very low,and the breastfeeding experience of users is poor.The available data reveal that the existing practice tend to promote breastfeeding from a social perspective by improving social cognition,but less attention is paid to seat design from the perspective of lactation women's actual experience.The lack of systematic and effective research and development process of domestic lactation seat products leads to the serious phenomenon of vague definition,single function and homogeneity of existing products,whilst users are still faced with problems such as difficult to adjust the nursing posture,aching back and excessive pressure on the elbow when they actually use them.In this paper,the integrated new product development method(i NPD)is introduced into the research and design of breastfeeding seat,corresponding improvements are made according to the practice.Innovations include: Add cultural(C)factor dimension to the original SET analysis in order to fully grasp the comprehensive reasons driving product development;Increasing quantitative research methods,embodied in the current situation of lactation user research and evaluation of key conclusions stage;In addition,two systems engineering modeling techniques were used to verify and analyze the value opportunities of breastfeeding seating.The driving factors of breastfeeding experience were extracted by means of interpreted structural modeling(ISM)and the design model of breastfeeding seating was constructed by using analytic hierarchy process(AHP).The improved i NPD process includes four steps: preliminary verification,opportunity identification,opportunity understanding,concept output and design practice,which enhance the research applicability and practice integrity of product development compared with the original i NPD process.The research and design of breastfeeding seat based on i NPD is mainly divided into five steps :Firstly,to demonstrate the domestic demand for breast-feeding seat products.Through questionnaire survey and interview,the existing problems of lactation seat were sorted out.Secondly,to identify lactation seat product opportunities.SETC analysis was used to excavate multiple opportunity gaps,and the final opportunity gap was obtained after screening and re-engineering,that is,the experience-type lactation seat with posture adjustment,breast milk management and consumption and entertainment.Thirdly,to understand the value of breast-feeding opportunities.The priority of each value attribute was evaluated for the resolution of product system that affected lactation experience and design.Fourthly,to comb the product concept of breastfeeding seat.According to the typical user portrait,diverges the product solution idea,through the sketch exploration,the effect drawing and the preliminary plan optimization consummation product concept.Lastly,to evaluate the scheme design of experience-type lactation seat.Complete the final 3D modelling,CMF design and scenario rendering,expert users and core users were invited to evaluate the degree of functional demand and satisfaction.All of these processes are for validation of rationality and effectiveness of the research and design of i NPD breastfeeding seat.From the perspective of theory,this paper is to some extent the enrichment and accumulation of the domestic nursing seat design field,and optimize its systematicness and scientificity by improving i NPD.From the perspective of practical value,the design of experience-type lactation seating device is helpful to improve the experience of lactation women and the intention of breastfeeding.On the other hand,the derived product concept brings some reference to the relevant practitioners of lactation seat,and also has certain practical significance for the standard upgrade of lactation seat industry.
