| Dong people have their own unique ethnic cultural history.Dong women weave their beliefs,totem worship and life style into Dong brocade in the form of patterns.Dong brocade is one of the expressions of Dong women's life record and vision expression,which embodies their diligence and wisdom.Dong brocade is mainly concentrated in the channel Dong Autonomous County of Hunan Province,which is located at the junction of Hunan,Guangxi and Guizhou.In 2008,Dong brocade was selected as the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage.Dong brocade not only has the artistic value of ethnic and regional characteristics,but also has the use value.However,like other traditional weaving arts,due to its distinctive regional characteristics,high cost of labor and time,and changes in modern people's lifestyle,it gradually faded out of the market.At present,the inheritance of Dong brocade technology is not optimistic.In the current market,many brands at home and abroad are focusing on the combination of ethnic elements and modern fashion.In the first year of research,we decided to do the costume design to explore the cultural elements of Dong brocade,and cooperate with the intangible cultural heritage brand "YUNBUYAO" in the next semester.During the cooperation,we worked together with the design team to study and practice the Dong brocade pattern.Through the research on the Dong brocade pattern,we reconstructed and rearranged the Dong brocade pattern in the way of deconstruction,and established the graphic creative design with water ripple as the element and the design of Dong brocade clothing accessories as our research direction.This design is to explore and try the market.For the three categories of bags,clothing and ornaments,in addition to studying how to excavate and use its core cultural elements and integrate with the modern fashion trend,it is also necessary to study the clothing products that can reasonably make full use of Dong brocade fabric and save costs. |
