A preliminary exploration towards synthesis of alkaloids teleocidins and quadrigemine C was mainly carried out in this thesis.It contains the following three parts.Chapter 1:The first chapter introduced research progress of teleocidins in detail,specificaaly including structural characteristics,pharmacological effects and synthesis of these alkaloids.In addition,both traditional coupling reactions for C-N bond formation and Csp~2-Csp~3coupling reactions were also briefly introduced.Chapter 2:The second chapter mainly discussed my synthestic research toward teleocidins.Specifically,a nickel-catalyzed reduction method was used to realize the coupling of7-iodotryptamine derivatives and tertiary bromides.The scope of substrates suitable for this reductive coupling was then investigated.After completing the methodological research,it is hoped that this method will be applied to the subsequent synthesis of a series of peptide-containing alkaloids.Chapter 3:Since a nickel-catalyzed reductive coupling of 7-iodotryptamine derivatives and tertiary bromides had been established,this method was applied to construct C3a-C7?bond in tetrameric pyrroloindoline alkaloids in this chapter.The generated intermediate will be useful to contruct skeleton of quadrigemine C through the subsequent dimerization.
