In recent years,the domestic economic situation is not ideal and enterprises are walking down.In this context of surplus domestic steel capacity,mounting labor costs and clients'stricter requirements on multi-species,customized,highly stable production,high-quality products,and on-time delivery,steel companies have to meet the need of the clients through taking new measures on reducing production costs and adjusting modes of the organization for production and operation.It is that improving application of information technologies in steelmaking plants an important way to tackle the contradiction between large-scale steel production and individualized needs of downstream users.This context introduced the developments of the Intelligent manufacturing and integration of information technology and industrialization,the relationship with the information construction in-depth understanding of production process in the middle plant of Ansteel Group,paired with actual research data,practical problems in the plant are analyzed.This context also explained the effect that the MES system in the production organization.This paper provided the Solution strategy.It is confirmed that the production organization principle of preparing production orders according to order contracts,and preparing production plans according to production orders,preparing loading plan according to the Stock.These cogging plans and rolling plan and loading plan are collectively called the"integration plan",the design basis and the general idea for the rolling plans of the MES system are determined.Focusing on multiple constraint rules on the rolling plan preparation,building integration plan model base on a VRP model,which employs the heuristic algorithm,has been established to promote production efficiency through reasonable planning.Then the MES system for the plant is designed and set up,the system plays its roles in eight aspects such as production management,quality management,material tracking,delivery management,and comprehensive statistics.Real-time data exchange had been realized with upper system and lower system through establishing communication module,instead of traditional way of information conveyance with paper,avoided arising Islands of redundant and inconsistent information,improving the Management Benefit.In this paper,the designing of MES system and production order plan in early 2015 officially used in Middle line of large profile factory.There has been a steady operation and good performance for 2 years,getting the user consistent high praise.This paper Analysised of the real field data,the production efficiency can be effectively improved.Thus,the desired design goals are achieved,Generalizing to the middle line and the hot line.
