As the most critical unit that affects the quality of ethylene products in ethylene production,it is necessary to maintain the long-term safe and stable operation of ethylene cracking furnace.Therefore,it is of great significance to develop an online intelligent monitoring system for the operation of ethylene cracking furnace.The production of ethylene by cracking naphtha is a continuous chemical production process.If the deviations that are not allowed in the production process can be found in time and adjusted accordingly,it can avoid failures and improve the production efficiency of an enterprise.Therefore,the main content of this article is following:First,according to the characteristics of the production process of ethylene production from naphtha cracking,determine the logical structure framework,system function module and system interface design of the online intelligent monitoring system.The second is the development of algorithm functions.The establishment of an algorithm model based on real historical ethylene production data includes the use of principal component analysis(PCA)to develop a core process monitoring module and the establishment of a monitoring model to monitor the production process.With the characteristics of adjustment,an operating state recognizer with two data frequencies has been developed to timely and accurately monitor the operating state of the ethylene production process to reduce false alarms in the monitoring system due to the adjustment of the operating state.The fault diagnosis module is developed based on the symbolic directed graph method(SDG).When a fault is detected,the fault diagnosis module can give a good path and root cause variable of fault propagation.Based on partial least squares(PLS),a soft sensor module for instrument calibration was developed to correct the inaccurate measurement data caused by the instrument abnormality in the actual production process,and timely correct and ensure the accuracy of the analysis results of the intelligent monitoring system.Finally,after connecting and debugging the system,the online intelligent monitoring system for ethylene production was developed,and the system was installed in the actual industrial production process for application testing,and good monitoring and analysis results were obtained.
