| In order to solve the problem of nonuniform wear of backup roller in finishing mill and to improve the service life of backup roller in the production practice of Chenggang 1780mm hot strip mill,the regularity of wear of backup roller were analyzed.According to the mechanism and principle of roll wear,the influence of roller curve parameters and process parameters on the contact pressure between rolls and plate crown were studied by using the offline simulation calculation program based on the theory of influence function method elastic deformation,the new roll shape of backup roller was designed and online applied.The specific research contents were as follows.(1)The roll wear and mechanism was described,the types of roll wear and its manifestations systematically were discussed,the calculation model of roll thermal crown was studied,the idea of backup roll curve design was clarified.(2)Combined with the actual situation in the hot rolling production line of Chenggang,the relevant part of the backup roller curve in SIEMENS shape control model was digested,the data of the usage and wear of the backup roller were collected and analyzed,and the relevant rules were obtained.(3)The influence function method elastic deformation theory offline simulation program was improved and a large number of calculations were carried out,the influence rule of different factors on the contact pressure between rolls were analyzed and the theoretical guidance for the optimization design of backup roller curve was provided.(4)The new backup roller curve was developed and the parameters of the optimal support roller curve were obtained.The theoretical feasibility of the curve was verified by simulation experiments.(5)The new type of backup roller was applied in finishing mill field,the online usage and actual wear of the backup roller were analyzed,the analysis showed that the new backup roller curve was applied well. |
