| In recent years,with the rapid economic development in China,all kinds of light industries,such as textile industry,paper industry and so on,have developed rapidly,resulting in the increase of corresponding dyes and the discharge of dye wastewater.However the high chroma and organic content of dye wastewater make it unable to be effectively treated in the existing conventional wastewater treatment process.So a large number of researches on dye wastewater treatment have been carried out at domestic and foreign,among which biochar adsorption,a physical removal technology,has become a popular research direction with the advantages of easy operation,low cost and high efficiency.Plant-based biochar with rich pore structure has been widely studiedThe research teamhas studied that biochar Magnolia Biochar(MBC)has good absorption properties,and magnolia widely grown across the country,with seasonal shedding of leaves.In this study,magnolia leaf as the raw material,the adsorbent prepared Magnolia Leaf Powder(MLP)and Magnolia Biochar(MBC),and make a contrast aboutadsorbing typical dyes Methylene Blue(MB)performance.MBC isa essentiallymodification of MLP with a high temperature.According to the experimental results,MgO is used to modify MBC continuously,which called The Material M.Compared material M with the modified MBC forMB adsorption performance,and increase the orthogonal test.By Scanning Electron Microscopy(SEM),Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET),Fourier Transform Infrared(FTIR),andadsorption isotherm model,theoretical adsorption kinetics,thermodynamics,studied adsorption properties of Adsorbents,and discussed of pH,initial concentration and adsorption time on the adsorption capacity.Specific conclusions are as follows1、characterization ofMLP、MBC and MMLP、MBC and M were used as adsorbents to remove methylene blue pollutants(MB).The surface functional groups,pore structure and other physical and chemical characteristics of the materials were analyzed by the above characterization methods.All of three materials have excellent pore structure,specific surface area of three is M>MBC>MLP.And three materialshave similar functional groups,specially M and MBC is aromatic,and Monly increase-NO group than MBC2、Effect of factorsEffect of adsorption pH,ionic strength on the MBC and MLP:Discussion on the pH,ionic strength,initial concentration,adsorption time on the adsorption process.pH is between 3 to 13,the adsorption rate of MB increases with the increase of pH.The increase of ionic strength inhibited the adsorption process of the two adsorbents.The initial concentration has a great influence on the adsorption rate.The adsorption rate of MLP at high concentration is better than that of MBC,and the adsorption effect of MBC at low concentration of 20-60mg/L is better.The orthogonal experiment:The orthogonal experiment showed that the influence of pH,the amount of adsorbent and ionic strength on the adsorption rate of M and MBC was:pH>the amount of adsorbent>ionic strength.About M,there are optimal combination of conditions in acid and alkaline environment.respectively is pH=5,the amount of M is 0.15g,and ionic strength is 0.01 mol/L;pH=13,the amount of M is 0.15g,and ionic strength is 0.01 mol/L3、Analysis of adsorption process of MLP、MBC and MThe adsorption of methylene blue by the three materials accords with Langmuir isotherm adsorption model and second-order kinetics model.Combined with the characterization results,it is found that the adsorption process of the two materials is the coexistence of physical adsorption and chemical adsorption,in which electrostatic attraction is the main adsorption mechanism.The adsorption process of the three materials is spontaneous endothermic reaction.The maximum adsorption capacity of MBC is 105.08mg/g,MLP is 109.77mg/g,andmaterial M is 111.09mg/g.4、Application prospect analysisBenefit analysis and economic analysis of the three adsorbents were carried out.First of all,it is compared with the similar adsorbent from three aspects:the difficulty of obtaining raw materials,the adsorption capacity and the adsorption cost.It can be seen that it has certain competitiveness.Economic analysis is obtained by calculating the cost and production cost,combined with the adsorption capacity calculated adsorption capacity per unit cost.The results show that MLP without pyrolysis and modification is more economical. |
