In terms of the secure operation of high-speed railway,seismic activities are the most threatening ones among all kinds of natural disasters.Hence,conducting research on high-speed railway earthquake early warning(EEW)is a significant means to reduce or even eliminate the damage caused by natural earthquakes to the safe operation of highspeed railway.Currently,although the testing approach based on on-site simulation,which comprehensively considers factors such as geographical environments,site and noisy interference along the high-speed railway,can make functional testing and verification on high-speed railway earthquake early warning systems(EEWSs)by using natural seismic waves as excitation sources,it is costly and time-consuming.Therefore,from the perspective of indoor prototype simulation,based on virtual instrument(VI)technology,we develop a testing system targeted at high-speed railway EEWSs and use this system to simulate,generate and then send natural seismic waves and non-seismic noisy waves to carry out testing technology research on current high-speed railway EEWSs.The main work that we completed in this paper is as follows:1.We analyzed the domestic and international research developments of EEW,highspeed railway EEWSs and VI technology by referring to relevant literatures.And then we compared and analyzed three distinct simulation testing methods that are suitable for conducting simulation testing on high-speed railway EEWSs.Finally,we determined to choose the scheme that developing a high-speed railway EEW testing system based on Lab VIEW and then carrying on simulation testing on the seismic monitoring function of high-speed railway EEWSs by using our testing system.2.We introduced the source and composition of the testing data and the selection criteria of natural seismic waves.In the meantime,we proposed an approach for selecting records originated from multiple seismic stations that are approximately distributed in a linear manner.Next,we performed a statistical analysis on testing data.At last,based on Django,we developed a seismic data query system,which can identify and select multiple seismic stations that are nearly in a linear distribution and improve the efficiency of selecting multiple seismic stations data for P-wave early warning testing.3.We developed a high-speed railway EEW testing system based on Lab VIEW.By the way of testing instances,we verified the function of our testing system and conducted the consistent analysis by comparing the acquired waves with the original waves.The result shows that the amplitude accuracy of our testing system is 0.005±0.002 gal and the peak acceleration time is no difference,which also indicates that our high-speed railway EEW testing system based on VI technology is accurate and reliable.Furthermore,we performed verification and testing on current high-speed railway EEWSs and then we confirmed that our testing system is feasible and efficient.
