Photocatalytic degradation technology is expected to completely degrade organic dye wastewater under mild conditions without causing secondary pollution.Nano-zinc oxide(ZnO),as a wide band gap semiconductor material,is commonly used for the photocatalytic degradation of organic dye wastewater in the ultraviolet region. In order to expand the photocatalytic activity of nano-ZnO in the visible range,it was modified and prepared in this study.Based on the characteristics of high solubility, low melting point, and environmental friendliness of deep eutectic solvents(DES),this paper first prepared nano-ZnO materials using DES as reaction solvents. And the preparation process and the photocatalytic performance of the material under simulated sunlight were studied.Furthermore, nanocomposites Ag/AgCl/ZnO are prepared by one-pot method. The performance of photocatalytic degradation of organic dye wastewater under visible light was also investigated. The specific research work is as follows:In this study,nano-ZnO was prepared by ion-thermal method in DES.The effects of DES type, zinc source type, zinc source concentration, heating temperature and heating time on the photocatalytic performance of the product were investigated.By adding silver nitrate to the system to modify nano-ZnO,nanocomposites Ag/AgCl/ZnO with visible light catalytic activity was obtained, and its preparation conditions were optimized. The composite material achieves a degradation effect of more than 95%for methylene blue and rhodamine B within 120 min under a light source with a 420 nm cut-off filter on a 500 W long-arc xenon lamp, which was much higher than that of nano-ZnO materials(about 10%).XRD,TEM,XPS,Uv-vis analysis of nano-ZnO materials and nanocomposites Ag/AgCl/ZnO were conducted to understand the morphology, composition and optical properties of the materials.Under the visible light source, the effects of the ratio of the amount of dye to the amount of catalyst, the initial concentration of the dye,the pH of the initial solution on the degradation of methylene blue and rhodamine B solution by nanocomposites Ag/AgCl/ZnO were studied.Kinetic calculations are also carried out on the experimental results, and possible degradation mechanisms are proposed. In addition, the catalytic performance of nanocomposites Ag/AgCl/ZnO was investigated under simulated sunlight, and the possible degradation mechanism under this light source was also proposed, which provided a basis for the application of photocatalytic degradation technology of organic dye wastewater.
