Since the 1960s,it has been found that natural gas can be used as an alternative fuel to alleviate the shortage of gasoline and diesel supply. After nearly 50 years of exploration and promotion in China, natural gas has been widely uesd as automotive fuel.As one of the infrastructures for the promotion of natural gas fuel, natural gas filling stations have been built in large quantities in China. However, with the rapid development of the gas station industry, the total energy consumption of gas stations is also rising rapidly. Therefore,it is necessary to study the energy consumption of the gas filling station, test the energy consumption of the energy consumption equipment and analyze the energy efficiency level,so as to put forward the corresponding energy-saving measures and management methods, reduce the operation cost of the gas station and improve the efficiency. In this paper,on the basis of mastering the process flow and energy consumption links of various gas stations, the overall scheme of energy consumption analysis of gas filling stations is determined, the energy consumption index system of filling stations covering 9 indexes including CNG,LNG and L-CNG is established, and the key energy consumption index of efficiency of the compressor unit at CNG gas filling station is studied. In this paper, based on the energy balance principle of energy consumption system,a mathematical model of compressor unit efficiency based on the energy equation of open system is proposed for the first time, and the calculation method of other 8 indexes in the energy consumption index system of gas filling station is determined. This research fills up the blank of energy consumption test and calculation in industry of gas filling station. On the basis of determining the calculation methods of various energy consumption indexes, the requirements and test methods of the gas filling station on-site testing are defined by applying the statistical principle and combining with the actual situations of the gas filling stations.Based on the results of the study, the power equipments of 126 natural gas filling stations were tested on site. The test process and analysis results show that the energy consumption index test andcalculation method of the gas station is feasible;reducing the residual pressure and increasingthe volume of the tank can effectively reduce the energy consumption of the gas filling station;the energy-saving reference value of power consumption per unit of gas filling station isobtained;and relevant departments or enterprises can use this energy consumption index testand calculation method of gas filling station proposed in this paper to test the energyconsumption of gas filling station to obtain the energy efficiency limit value and energysaving evaluation value of energy consumption index by combining sampling method,so as to accelerate the energy-saving assessment of gas filling stations. Therefore, the technical and economic analysis of gas station construction and operation is carried out.The calculation and statistical results of the field test data are applied to the estimation of the production cost of the gas filling station, and the calculation method of the unit gas filling cost is given, which is used to guide the determination of the construction plan of gas filling stations. Then, the commonly used types of natural gas transport vehicles are comprehensively evaluated by using the Analytic Hierarchy Process and MATLAB,taking into account five kinds of influence factors. In addition, the selection principle of the compressor unit of the gas station is clarified, and the hydraulic piston compressor unit is recommended as the power equipment of the gas station.
