At present,the main methods suitable for injection well testing are radioisotope tracer carrier method and pulsed neutron oxygen activation logging method,both of which have their own deficiencies in practical applications.The water injection profile logging tool of the injection well is to solve the problem of testing the layered injection volume outside the tubing.A new type of logging tool developed to reflect the injection situation of the injection well more accurately.At present,most of the diameter of the instrument is 38 mm.For injection wells with a measurement channel of less than 38 mm,the use of the instrument is limited.Especially for some complex injection pipe strings,accurate data cannot be obtained.In order to solve this problem,this paper discusses the development of a new type of logging tool,through the design of the mechanical structure of the instrument and its downhole circuit,the replacement of heat-resistant materials,compression materials and other technical means.The improvement and perfection of the existing logging tools are realized,the structure of the tools is more reasonable,the technical indicators are greatly improved,and the reliability of the tools is further enhanced.And the experiment of pressure resistance,temperature resistance and instrument stability of the instrument prototype was carried out.Then it was connected with the surface logging tool PL2000 to complete the field test of four wells.The tested wells include injection wells,caged wells and caged upper return wells.From the perspective of field application effects,the instrument has similar technical indicators and measurement accuracy as the same Ф38mm instrument,and has the characteristics of low measurement limit and low instrument cost.It can also be used for the measurement of conventional injection wells.It is an economical and practical logging tool that can make accurate measurements.It can provide more reliable injection profile logging data for low-yield oil wells and can solve the problems of injection profile logging.Most of the problems can provide accurate test data for the formulation and adjustment of oilfield development programs.
