With the consumption of traditional fossil energy sources,it has become very important to find alternative clean energy sources.Hydrogen has attracted a lot of attention,while the biological hydrogen production method has low cost,no pollution,and has great advantages.This paper uses sugarcane water as a substrate to construct a biofilm ABR hydrogen production reactor combining a fluidized carrier and a solidified carrier.The 48-day start-up experiment and the 40-day run experiment are conducted to discuss the production of sugarcane water as a substrate.Characteristics of hydrogen reactors during startup and operation.Start-up experiments show that at a temperature of about 35 ℃,the pH value of the inlet water is between 6.5-7.0,the initial HRT is 48h,the initial inlet COD concentration is 983.6mg/L,and the inlet COD concentration is increased to 4702.4mg/L in stages On the 43rd day of starting the experiment,the gas was collected by the gas cylinder above the cell,the ABR reactor was successfully started,and the system formed an ethanol-type fermentation.The results showed that the maximum COD removal rate of the ABR reactor with sugarcane water as the substrate was 55.8%.When the COD concentration of the feed water was 7462.5mg/L,the maximum hydrogen production per day was 61.08L,which appeared in the feed.The COD concentration of water is 6998.4mg/L.Compared with substrates such as starch and brown sugar,the COD removal rate of the reactor running with sugarcane water as a substrate is lower,but the hydrogen production efficiency has great advantages,which can be considered for application in biological production.Alternative choice for hydrogen substrate.The ABR biohydrogen reactor with a combination of a fluidized carrier and a solidified carrier has a shorter startup time and stronger impact resistance.The first cell has the strongest COD removal capability and the second cell has the strongest hydrogen production capability.During the running process,the successfully started ABR reactor always maintained an ethanol-type fermentation system,and it had better hydrogen production efficiency when it was run with sugarcane water as a substrate.
