Research On The Impact Of Carbon Information Disclosure On The Comprehensive Performance Of Heavy Polluting Enterprises

With the development of economic globalization,the situation of environmental pollution is becoming more and more serious,the phenomenon of global warming is also rising rapidly,and global warming seriously affects the survival and development of human society,governments and enterprises of all countries are constantly making their own efforts for energy conservation and carbon reduction.Although in recent years,China's environmental governance has greatly improved,but due to excessive carbon emissions,the greenhouse effect is more and more serious,and climate problems often appear,making people pay more and more attention to environmental issues.In view of this situation,the disclosure of carbon information is one of the important ways for Chinese enterprises to develop well.Disclosure of carbon information can make carbon information more transparent and alleviate information asymmetry.Starting from a new historical starting point,the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China drew a grand blueprint for the construction of ecological civilization,advocated a green and low-carbon development mode,and also put forward many concepts related to environmental protection,such as "carbon emissions" and "green report".In recent years,China has vigorously developed the green and low-carbon economy,followed by the introduction of some carbon emission control policies for enterprises,advocating that enterprises can actively carry out energy conservation and emission reduction,and promote the development of low-carbon economy.In order to study the impact of carbon information disclosure on the comprehensive performance of enterprises,promote enterprises to fully disclose carbon information,disclose high-quality carbon information,and improve the level of carbon information disclosure,this paper mainly takes heavy polluting enterprises as an example,through the construction of carbon information disclosure indicators and enterprise comprehensive performance indicators,and carries out empirical design and analysis.According to the cash flow portfolio method of life cycle division,the sample enterprises are divided into four stages:start-up stage,growth stage,maturity stage and recession stage.The impact of carbon information disclosure on the comprehensive performance of enterprises in different stages is analyzed.In the process of research,it is found that the level of carbon information disclosure in China's enterprises is not high at present,and there are significant differences in the impact of carbon information disclosure on the comprehensive performance of enterprises.In the start-up period,carbon information disclosure has a negative correlation with the comprehensive performance of enterprises,in the growth period and the mature period,there is a positive correlation,while in the recession period,there is no significant correlation.The comprehensive performance of enterprises with high level of carbon information disclosure can be improved.Therefore,carbon information disclosure is helpful to the development of enterprises,brings good social benefits to enterprises,and further improves the reputation of enterprises.In addition,this paper puts forward suggestions and countermeasures from the perspective of enterprises,government and the public,in order to promote the level of carbon information disclosure and improve the comprehensive performance of enterprises in China.
