Bearing is an important basic part of mechanical equipment,and the raceway of ferrule is an important surface for bearing to bear working load.Its machining quality will directly affect the service life and working performance of bearing.The final machining of the raceway of the ball bearing ring mainly adopts the method of grinding.Among the many factors of ball bearing manufacturing,the level of raceway grinding technology is the key technology to improve the quality of bearing products.The groove grinding of ball bearing rings mainly adopts the form grinding method.The form surface precision of the form grinding wheel used for groove grinding is the key to ensure the groove grinding precision of ball bearing rings.Therefore,to improve the form grinding precision,the first problem is to solve the form grinding wheel dressing.There are many effective methods for dressing wheel.At present,there are two main methods for dressing wheel,single point dressing and diamond roller dressing.The comparative study shows that the diamond roller dressing method has obvious advantages over the single point dressing method,especially in the manufacturing of multi channel bearing.Due to the recognition and manufacturing accuracy of diamond roller in China,single point dressing method is mostly used in bearing raceway grinding in China.The application technology of diamond roller dressing abroad has been mature,and diamond dressing roller technology is widely used in bearing groove grinding.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out the basic research on the application of diamond roller dressing technology in the groove grinding of ball bearing ring in time,which has important application basic theoretical value and practical application significance to improve the machining technology level of ball bearing raceway with complex surface in China.In this paper,we focuses on the key technical problems in the manufacturing process of diamond dressing roller for groove grinding of ball bearing rings,the driving and installation of roller,the basic technological parameters of roller dressing application,and carries out the dressing grinding application experiment to obtain the manufacturing method and dressing technological parameters of single channel and multichannel diamond dressing roller.The specific research contents and results are as follows:1.Grinding wheel dressing technology in groove forming grinding of ball bearing rings.In this paper,the machining process of the ball bearing ring is summarized;the groove of the ball bearing ring is grinded by the shaping cut in method through the comparison of the groove grinding methods;the advantages of dressing the formed grinding wheel for the groove grinding by the diamond roller dressing method are discussed through the comparison and analysis of the single point dressing method and the diamond roller dressing method.2.Research on shaping and grinding raceway of ball bearing with diamond dressing roller.(1)The manufacturing technology of high precision diamond roller for bearing groove grinding was studied.The project studies the manufacturing process of diamond roller for bearing raceway grinding by internal plating method,and focuses on the selection of materials for the female model cavity,surface processing,diamond sanding,surface electroplating,surface measurement and grinding and other key technologies.The manufacturing accuracy of the developed technology can reach micron level,which can meet the technical requirements of grinding wheel dressing for ball bearing raceway grinding.(2)The diamond roller dressing driving device for bearing grinding is developed.A cantilever type high-precision front and rear angular contact bearing double support diamond roller dressing drive device is developed.The feed mechanism is driven by high-precision linear rolling guide and ball screw.The overall drive accuracy reaches 3 μ m axial runout,the speed range is 0-3000 r / min,and the minimum feed is 0.002 μ m / s,reaching the level of high-precision roller dressing drive device.(3)In this paper,the dressing process parameters of bearing groove diamond dressing roller are studied,and the dressing process parameters such as speed ratio Q,feed speed F and smooth dressing speed n are experimentally studied.The basic dressing process parameters of roller in bearing dressing are determined as follows: the forward dressing method is used for dressing roller,and the dressing speed ratio q is 0.4-0.7;the feed per revolution of roller should be controlled at 0.5μ m Within;the number of roller smoothrepair is controlled within 40 revolutions.3.Experimental research on dressing and grinding of diamond rollerIn view of the practical application of ball bearing groove grinding,the bearing single groove and double groove diamond roller are designed and manufactured,and the dressing grinding experiment is carried out.The grinding wheel finished with the diamond roller is applied in the actual factory.A batch of sample ferrules are processed.Through the sample inspection,the accuracy data of the tested samples show that: the dimensional accuracy meets the requirements,the size dispersion is very small,the deviation of the groove radius is within 5 μ m,the deviation of the groove spacing is within 5 μ m,the deviation of the groove runout is 5 μ m,and the processing quality stability is good,reaching the application factory Technical requirements.All application research results show that our research data have good engineering applicability.
