In order to explore a suitable technical model for evaluating and renovating degraded land in the agro-pastoral ecotone in the loess hilly region.This paper takes Taigedou village in the typical agro-pastoral ecotone of Inner Mongolia and Helinger County as the research area.The thesis based on the the current land use map and topographic map.According to different land types,32 arable land,20 woodlands and 23 grasslands with similar site conditions were selected in the study area.A total of 75 plots were selected as the research objects.On the basis of investigating the present situation of land resources in Taigedou village,the suitability of agricultural land in Taigedou village was evaluated.Aiming at the problems of land use and the causes of land degradation in Taigedou village,the technical model of land consolidation suitable for local areas wass summarized and put forward.The results were as follows:(1)The main land use types of Taigedou village are grassland,arable land and woodland,which account for 47.42%,23.39%and 23.24%of the total land area of Taigedou village,respectively.Grassland mainly distributes below 25 degrees of slope,shady slope and semi-sunny slope;cultivated land distributes most widely in semi-sunny slope and gentle slope with slope less than 15 degrees;forest land distributes evenly in shady slope and sunny slope,gentle slope with slope less than 15 degrees.(2)Agricultural land suitable for farming in Taigedou village is divided into four grades according to the principles and standards of suitability evaluation.Among them,the land suitable for farming with high suitability and good quality is a better land for agricultural production.Its area distribution is relatively uniform,accounting for 70.97%of the total land area in the study area.The main limiting factors for unsuitable cultivated land are slope,soil nutrient for unsuitable woodland and topsoil texture for unsuitable grassland.Restrictive factors of various types of land are the main causes of land degradation.(3)In the loess hilly region,six technical models for the rehabilitation of degraded land are as follows:contour tillage,horizontal terrace,mixed tree-shrub forest,coniferous pure forest,economic forest and grassland rational grazing technology.Contour tillage,horizontal terrace,coniferous forest technology and economic forest technology have obvious control effect,and soil quality has been improved compared with the control.The change range of soil physical and chemical properties was small or not obvious,which indicated that grassland rationally grazing controlled the further degradation of grassland to a certain extent.
