UV curable acrylate pressure sensitive adhesive has been widely concerned because of its fast curing speed,high production efficiency,low investment cost,low energy consumption,no solvent,and no pollution to the environment.In this paper,the acrylate polymer was synthesized by solvent method,and then added as acrylate resin to the UV acrylate pressure sensitive adhesive system to prepare UV acrylate pressure sensitive adhesive with excellent bonding properties.Firstly,high molecular weight and low glass transition temperature acrylate polymer was synthesized by solvent method using 2-Ethylhexyl acrylate(EHA),butyl acrylate(BA),stearyl acrylate(SA)and acrylic acid(AA)as comonomers.The effects of different monomer ratio,initiator content,polymerization temperature,solvent content,stirring rate and other factors on the molecular weight,polydispersity and glass transition temperature of the prepared acrylate polymer were studied.Secondly,in order to initially verify the bonding properties of the synthetic acrylate polymer,it was prepared as solvent-based acrylate pressure-sensitive adhesive.The effects of different EHA content polymers,different molecular weight polymers,drying temperature,drying time and film thickness on the bonding properties of solvent-based pressure-sensitive adhesives were studied.Finally,UV acrylate pressure sensitive adhesive was prepared by dissolving the synthesized acrylate polymer in reactive diluents,adding photoinitiator,leveling agent,antifoaming agent and the like.This study investigated the effect of the type and addition of reactive diluent and photoinitiator,the molecular weight and addition amount of acrylate polymer,curing speed,film thickness and other factors on the curing speed,monomer conversion,tack,shear resistance,and peel strength of the prepared acrylate pressure sensitive adhesive.
