| Polyphenylene sulfide(PPS)fiber has excellent temperature resistance,chemical corrosion resistance,good mechanical properties and high flame retardancy,which are widely used in high temperature filter material of coal-fired boilers and protective clothing in special working environment.At present,the conventional PPS coloring method is dyeing with dyes after spinning,but it is easy to cause three wastes pollution and the lower colour fastness.Due to the high processing temperature,difficulty in coloring of polyphenylene sulfide,and fewer temperature-resistant colorants,there are few reports on the pre-spinning colouring of PPS fiber.In this paper,PPS color masterbatch was prepared by the dope dyed before polymer spinning.The properties of pigments,thermal oxidation resistance of color masterbatch and dispersibility of pigment were systematically studied.The PPS colored fiber was successfully prepared by melt spinning.In this paper,inorganic blue pigment ultramarine and organic pigment phthalocyanine blue PPS masterbatch and color plate with different kinds and contents were prepared,and their color properties and temperature resistance were characterized by particle size analyzer,TEM,colorimeter TG and other test methods.The results showed that the inorganic ultramarine blue have a large particle size of 900 nm,better temperature resistance but lower tinting strength,and the highest is 89.27;the organic phthalocyanine blue pigment also have higher temperature resistance,smaller particle size of 361 nm,and higher tinting strength of 100.Therefore,organic pigments were selected for subsequent experimental analysis.Four kinds of BGS/PPS masterbatch with 20%organic phthalocyanine blue pigments content at home and abroad were prepared.The PPS color plates were further moulded and melt-spun into fiber.The effects of pigments on the color properties,temperature resistance and spinnability of PPS color plates were analyzed by means of optical microscopy,color measuring instrument and SEM.The results showed that the phthalocyanine blue BGSⅡhas smaller agglomeration in the PPS resin,more uniform dispersion,better temperature resistance,smooth fiber surface and higher spinnability.The effects of BGSⅡ content of different phthalocyanine blue on the coloring properties and crystallization properties of PPS resin were studied by means of XRD,DSC and POM.The results showed that the colour performance tended to be saturated when the content of pigment was 1.2%.Pigment played the role of nucleating agent in PPS resin and promoted the crystallization of PPS.When the content of BGS Ⅱ was 0.8%,the mechanical properties of PPS color products were the best,which the tensile strength is increased by 3.97%,and the elongation at break is increased by 19.5%.The effects of three kinds of antioxidants on the thermal oxidation resistance of PPS masterbatches were studied by means of dynamic OIT,DSC and TG.The results showed that antioxidants 1010 and 1330 had poor thermal oxidation resistance to PPS masterbatches,and the oxidation induction temperature decreased by about 40℃.the antioxidant S-9228 increased the oxidation-inducing temperature of the PPS masterbatch by about 5.46℃ at a content of 0.1%,and the heat-resistant oxidation performance is good.PPS color plate and color filament were prepared by adding three dispersants into PPS masterbatch.The morphology,color properties and spinnability were characterized by torque rheometer,SEM,colorimeter,and sonic orientation.The results showed that when the content of dispersant A was 5 wt%,the pigment are well-distributed,the dyeing power decreases slightly,and the spinnability was better;when the content of superdispersant B was 7 wt%,the pigment was more even distribution,the fiber had hollow surface,and poor spinnability;when the content of superdispersant C is 5 wt%,the pigment was well-distributed in PPS,the surface of the fiber was smooth,and the spinnability was the best. |
