The objective of this study is to synthesize available knowledge on current state of waste generation and sewage water issues in Kazakhstan and China.Undergoing rapid growth in centralized water supply of both urban and rural areas of Kazakhstan will also require a development of new sewage disposal systems or rebuilding the existing ones.In this regard,decentralized systems should be considered in particular,due to their better fit to sustainability concept and proved applicability in developing countries.The main part of this report will consists of issues of Kazakhstan and People’s Republic of China environmental pollution control policy and technology trade comparative study,including the two countries pollution control policies and regulations;international technology trade and cooperation projects and their case studies.Hence,the development and improvement of highly efficient methods of cleaning not only drinking,but also wastewater,ensuring their reuse or discharge into surface water bodies without disturbing their ecological balance,are of great importance.Recently,in the practice of water treatment and purification,there has been a tendency to use more highly efficient methods from neighboring more developed countries in this field which has been practicing the methods listed below for a long time.The solution of the problem is the study of the physical and chemical composition of the Syr Darya river water(within the Badam region),the development of technologies for extracting a significant amount of ammonium nitrates,total phosphorus,COD from the Syr Darya river.To achieve this goal it is necessary to observe and solve the following tasks:-study of the physical and chemical composition of water resources within the Syr Darya river,Badam region;-research previous methods of sewage water treatment in indicated river;-find out more appropriate method of river purification via searched Xinfeng river;-the study of the application principles of strengthening constructed pond-artificial wetland technology;-Scrutiny of the removal effect of carbon fiber oxidation pond-artificial wetland combination process on pollutants;-analyze the water quality syne application of Xinfeng water treatment technology;-development of the technological scheme and the optimal mode of wastewater treatment by constructed Xinfeng river demonstration Project to Syr Darya.Each section provides an overview of the current national framework conditions in each of the areas considered.We will provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of environmental governance concerning water problems and waste generation in both rivers,Syr Darya and Xinfeng which coordinated cross-sectoral actions,both on the regional and the national level,need to be undertaken to ensure a productive cooperation between state institutions,business and the society.Additional plans are to use sewage interception,water bio-enhancement(bio-enhanced constructed wetland,water and plant-strength,microbes).Community regulation,ecological restoration(carbon fiber bio-film repair,carbon fiber artificial floating bed in situ repair,high-efficiency energy-saving micro-nano aerobic,microbial hanging bacteria,sediment dredging)and other integrated technologies,so that the river water quality meets the "surface water environmental quality standards,Class Ⅳ" water quality standards.
