Extraction Of Polysaccharides From Tremella Fuciformis And Its Application In Shampoo

In the cosmetics industry,much attention has been focused on the plant materials due to their natural and safe characteristics.Tremella polysaccharide is a kind of heteropolysaccharide extracted from Tremella fuciformis.It has moisturizing,smoothing and anti-oxidation effects.However,its performance and application research are still little,which limits the use of Tremella polysaccharide in cosmetics.In this paper,the extraction process,performance and application of tremella polysaccharides were studied.It’s valuable for further application of tremella polysaccharides in cosmetics.Tremella polysaccharides were extracted by flash extraction method in this study,and the total sugar yield of tremella polysaccharides was used as the target.By using single factor and orthogonal experiments,the optimum conditions were as follows:extraction voltage 120 V,temperature 75℃,extraction time 2.5 min,pH 7.0,ratio of solvent to raw material 30:1.The total sugar yield of tremella polysaccharide was 41.84%according to the phenol-sulfuric acid method.The rheological properties,emulsifying properties and foam stability of tremella polysaccharides were studied.The rheological properties of tremella polysaccharides were consistent with pseudoplastic fluid properties.Temperature and pH had limited effect on the viscosity of aqueous solution of tremella polysaccharides,while the electrolyte has a great influence on the viscosity of the tremella polysaccharide solution below 0.5%.Tremella polysaccharide could emulsify 10 times its own oil,and has good compatibility with oils of different structures.Tremella polysaccharides have limited effect on the foam volume of amino acid surfactants,while improving foam stability and quality.An emulsifier-free essence can be prepared by tremella polysaccharide,with the average particle size of about 153μm.The use of essence as a conditioning agent improves the moisturizing and elastic properties of damaged hair over emulsified silicone oils.Tremella polysaccharide was applied to shampoo and had a passivating effect on the antifungal activity of the antiseptic system.The addition of tremella polysaccharides facilitates the combing of shampoo before and after washing.When the tremella polysaccharide and the essence were added together,the wet comb performance of the hair in the semi-dry state was significantly improved.
