In the 21st century,with the rapid development of national economy and the continuous enrichment of people's social life materials,China is undergoing a transformation process from manufacturing to creation.In order to meet the actual needs of people's life,mechanical press and its automatic assembly line technology are widely used in automobile,agricultural machinery,national defense and other large-scale industrial fields.At present,the demand for short-term,high-efficiency and high-precision processing equipment is increasingly strong.Mechanical press is the main manufacturing equipment of sheet metal forming,which is closely related to the production,life and other aspects of the people in our country.In recent years,due to the birth and use of a new generation of high-performance materials,and the improvement of the awareness of saving new energy and raw materials and a strong concept of time-saving,thus higher requirements for the mechanical press electrical control system performance design is put forward.The mechanical press based on automatic control can replace manual operation,and with the improvement of intelligence,its production efficiency and product quality are also improved while improving the accuracy of equipment,saving a lot of human resources,so as to promote the modern industry to tend to the unmanned mode.At the same time,the real-time state monitoring and maintenance management of operators and mechanical equipment put into use is the most important.In this paper,the above factors should be taken into account in the design of the electrical control system of the press.According to this,the large and medium-sized distributed electrical control and speed regulating system of the mechanical press based on PLC is designed.And they are also designed that the safety automatic protections control system,ADC automatic mold change control system,system function control program,etc.The HMI touch screen human-machine interface of the PROFACE is equipped for editing,and supporting human-computer interface monitoring system is provided.Mechanical press equipment is driven by electrical control system,gas control system and oil control system.In this project,the electrical control system is designed to cooperate with some gas control and oil control systems.The substation of the whole control system includes main station of electric cabinet and substation of frequency converter,column operation,cross beam,pit,slide block,workbench,etc.The design idea is to determine the control method of the press and design the control scheme of the whole control system and the selection of components according to the technological requirements of the advanced press.The design of the control system includes the following processes.First of all,the actual wiring,control principle and wiring diagram of PLC module of main station and each substation are designed.Then,the selection of electrical components in each substation of the control system,the design of automatic protection control system,and the design and analysis of each action control program of the technological process of the mechanical press are implemented.At last,the interface of HMI is edited and the network configuration of control system is set.After the final commissioning test of the project,the control system can not only meet the needs of industrial production of high precision,high efficiency,high safety,more flexibility and controllability,but also make the equipment management and maintenance personnel master the status of the equipment in more detail,which is convenient for safe and efficient operation and maintenance.
