In 2019,China imported 1.07 billion tons of iron ore,an increase of 0.5% year-on-year.The import value reached 101.46 billion US dollars,an increase of 26.64 billion US dollars year-on-year,an increase of 33.6%.The sharp increase in iron ore import prices has caused significant impact to steel manufacturing industries.As China’s steel industry giant,Baowu Steel Group,90% of the iron ore required for production each year comes from imports.The sharp increase in the import price of iron ore increases the production cost of Baowu Steel Group and threatens the survival of enterprises.The transportation cost of iron ore is an important part of the total cost of iron and steel production.Optimizing the transportation path of iron ore and reducing the transportation cost of iron ore can alleviate the production pressure caused by the increase in iron ore prices to Baowu Steel Group.The thesis uses literature research method,model optimization method and qualitative analysis method to optimize the iron ore transportation route of Baowu Steel Group.The iron and steel production capacity of the four major steel production bases in the Yangtze River Basin of Baowu Steel Group accounts for 70% of the Group’s steel production capacity.Optimizing the iron ore transportation routes of the four steel production bases can reduce the iron ore transportation costs of the entire group.The iron ore transportation routes of the four major steel production bases were optimized.Considering that Baowu Steel Group mainly transports iron ore by water,the author analyzes the water transportation conditions of Baowu Steel Group and points out the current problems of water transportation.After this,the author analyzed and selected ship fuel cost,environmental cost,ship depreciation fee and port loading and unloading fees as the various costs of iron ore comprehensive transportation cost,and constructed a transportation optimization model with the smallest iron ore comprehensive transportation cost.After solving the optimization model with Lingo software,the best iron ore transportation routes of the four major steel production bases were obtained: The four major steel production bases all use 200,000-ton cargo ships in one voyage.The one-passage cargo ship in Baoshan Iron and Steel Production Base is directly transported to Baoshan base after 80,000 tons of load reduction in the Zhoushan port area,and the iron ore in the Zhoushan port area is reduced.A 50,000-ton cargo ship is used to transport to Baoshan base;a one-way transport cargo ship at Meishan Iron and Steel Production Base is transported to Zhoushan port area to unload all the iron ore contained in it,and then a10,000-ton river and sea direct ship is used to transport in Zhoushan port area To Meishan Base;a one-way transport cargo ship in Maanshan Iron and Steel Production Base and Qingshan Iron and Steel Production Base reduced the load of 80,000 tons in the Zhoushan Port area and continued to ship to Taicang Port and unloaded the remaining 120,000 tons of iron ore at Taicang Port,iron ore reduced in Zhoushan port area is transported to Nanjing port by 50,000-ton cargo ship,and then transported to various bases in Taicang port and Nanjing port by 5,000-ton inland barge. |
