Disposable high-absorbency sanitary products are popular with consumers due to their convenience,hygiene,and health.The performance of disposable high-absorbency sanitary products is mainly limited by the product’s structural design,the liquid-absorbing capacity of the super absorbent resin in the inner layer,and the comprehensive properties of each layer of material.Hot-air bonded non-woven fabric of ES fiber(Ethylene-Propylene Side By Side)is a preferred material for disposable high-absorption sanitary products due to its small thermal shrinkage and good softness.However,the ES fiber itself is a hydrophobic material,hydrophilic modification is required to impart water permeability to it,so as to help conduct urine into the inner super absorbent resin and other media.This thesis aims to develop an excellent hydrophilic oil agent for non-woven fabric of ES fiber.Thus the relationship between the properties and the molecular structures of polyoxyethylene(PEO)/polyoxypropylene(PPO)block polyether polymer surfactants in different types of PEOnPPOmPEOn,PPOmPEOnPPOm,PEOnPPOm,PPOm were studied in solution and in interface.The hydrophilic properties of ES fiber non-woven fabric were evaluated through the method of hydrophilic finishing after modified by a combined PEO/PPO block polyether polymer surfactants and common surfactants.The formulation of the ES fiber hydrophilic oil agent was carried out on the basis of PEO/PPO block polyether polymer surfactant.The main conclusions are as follows:1.The equilibrium surface tension of PEO/PPO block polyether polymer surfactant is mainly related to the degree of polymerization n,m and molar mass.When the n and m values are within 1~25 and 15~68 respectively,the equilibrium surface tension γ cmc decreased slightly with the increase of relative molecular mass,although the overall change is not large and their γcmc values are within 34~32 mN·m-1.For four polyether(n≤5,m=100~200)with same molar mass and PEO mass fraction but different structure,the equilibrium surface tension γ cmc value is about 34 mN·m-1.2.The wetting and spreading effect of PEO/PPO block polyether polymer surfactant at the interface of polyethylene(PE)film depends mainly on the molar mass and the equilibrium surface tension.When the PEO mass fraction of PEOnPPOmPEOn block polyether(n=1-25,m=15~68)is less than 20%,the wetting and spreading effect increases as the molar mass increases.For all polyether surfactants tested,such as PEOnPPOmPEOn,PPOmPEOnPPOm,PEOnPPOm and PPOm(n=1~25,m=15~200),the relation is established that the closer the equilibrium surface tension with respect to the wetting critical surface tension of PE,the better the wetting and spreading effect of a polyether surfactant.3.The multiple hydrophilic effect of ES fiber non-woven treated with PEO/PPO block polyether polymer surfactants depends mainly on the HLB value and molar mass of PEO/PPO block polyether.The larger the molar mass,the greater the adsorbing force of a block polyether to ES fibers,the greater the hydrophilicity of the ES fiber non-woven fabric after finishing modification,provided that the PEO/PPO block polyether is uniformly dispersed in solution and its HLB value is small.The 5th permeable times for ES fiber non-woven after treated by the polyether surfactans PEO3PPO150PEO3 and PPO100 is less than 3 s,indicating an excellent hydrophilic effect.4.PEO/PPO block polyether polymer surfactants can increase their surface activity,and improve the overall performance of non-woven fabric of ES fiber through the combination of anionic and cationic surfactants.The wetting and spreading effect of PEO/PPO block polyether combined by cationic surfactant is better than that of PEO/PPO block polyether combined by anionic surfactant.The best overall performance is achieved when the mass ratio is 8:2 for PEO3PPO150-PEO3:1305PK or PEO3PPO150PEO3:D12N5.Oil agent HX-1#has the best comprehensive performance.The 5th permeation time of the ES fiber non-woven fabric after finishing and modification is less than 3 s,and the amount of rewet is less than 0.13 g.After aging,the excellent comprehensive performance is maintained in terms of multiple hydrophilic,osmosis,whiteness,antibacterial,which shows a potential value to the industrial application. |
