The metal active composite material will burn or detonate under the external stimulus such as high temperature or high speed.Because of its dual characteristics of kinetic energy and chemical energy,the military application prospect is very broad.In this paper,Ni-Al active composite materials with different composition ratios prepared by compression molding technology are tested,and mechanical properties and reaction performance tests are conducted.By analyzing and summarizing experimental phenomena and data,the composition of Ni-Al active composite materials is initially obtained the relationship between the ratio and performance.At the same time,low-melting metals Zn and Pb were added to Ni-Al materials as binders to study their effects on the mechanical and reactive properties of Ni-Al active composite materials.The main research results are as follows:?1?The maximum compressive stress of five different proportions of Ni-Al active composite materials,increases with the increase of Al content,which tends to increase first and then decrease.When the mass ratio of Ni-Al is 1:1,the maximum compressive stress of the material reaches its maximum at this time.In terms of material plasticity,the overall plasticity of the five materials is poor,and the distribution ratio has basically no effect on the plasticity of the Ni-Al composite materials.With the increase of strain rate,the maximum compressive stress of the five Ni-Al active composites has increased greatly,and the Ni-Al active composites are more sensitive to the strain rate.Under 2000s-1,4000s-1,and 6000s-11 strain rate loading conditions,five different ratios of Ni-Al active composites will not undergo intermetallic compound reactions.?2?After isothermal sintering of Ni-Al-Zn and Ni-Al active composite materials,the density of sintered modified materials has increased.Under high strain rate dynamic compression,whether it is maximum compressive stress or plastic strain,Ni-Al-Zn active composites are superior to Ni-Al active composites.In terms of material reactivity,the addition of Zn powder increases the reaction threshold of Ni-Al to form intermetallic compounds.?3?After isothermal sintering of Ni-Al-Pb and Ni-Al active composite materials,under high strain rate dynamic compression,whether it is maximum compressive stress or plastic strain,Ni-Al-Pb active composite materials are superior to Ni-Al active composite materials.In terms of the reactivity of the material,after adding Pb powder,the Ni-Al intermetallic reaction did not change significantly.
