Coloring is an indispensable part in the production of plastic products.How to improve the dispersion uniformity of pigments in plastic carriers has always been the focus and hotspot of plastic coloring research.In this paper,the powder pigment/polypropylene(PP)mixed system was studied.The mixing mechanism of powder pigment in PP matrix,the experimental study of mixing process and the BP neural network prediction of pigment dispersion performance were explored and analyzed.ABSTRACTThe fluid dynamics software POLYFLOW was used to simulate the mixing process of the powder pigment/PP system in the co-rotating double-rotor batch mixer.The mixing speed of the rotor,the mixing time and the rotor configuration for the powder pigment/PP system were analyzed.And the influence law of the dispersion mixing process.The self-developed dry-process particle heating pretreatment device and the co-rotating double-rotor batch mixer were used to explore and practice the powder pigment/PP system pretreatment process and mixing process,and to examine different process parameters(pigment ratio).The rotor rotation speed and mixing time)affect the dispersion state of the pigment in the PP matrix and the color performance of the sample.Based on the orthogonal test and routine test data,the factors affecting the color difference of plastic products were analyzed and discussed.The prediction function of pigment dispersion performance was constructed by BP neural network data prediction function,and the prediction system of color difference was designed and developed.
