Flexible sensors play an increasingly important role in future life and work,which means that more and more high requirements will be put forward for the sensitivity and mechanical properties of flexible sensors.In this paper,the embedded deformable carbon foam electrode is used to induce the capacitance change of the double layer(EDL)in polymer hydrogels,so as to realize the high sensitivity detection of various mechanical excitation modes,such as tensile and vertical pressure.Different from traditional load change the distance between the capacitor electrodes(minimum to microns)form a capacitor dielectric capacitor sensor response and polar distance between tiny electric double layer capacitor(nanoscale)and it is difficult to change,it is through the load changing electrode capacitance response area so as to change the battery,so the capacitance value is bigger,more easily measured,more sensitive response of mechanical excitation.In order to realize this capacitive induction mechanism,carbon foam/polymer hydrogel flexible composites were designed and prepared in this paper.Among them,ions form doublelayer capacitance(EDL)at the contact interface between the carbon foam skeleton and the hydrogel,and the external mechanical excitation will change the contact area between the carbon foam skeleton and the hydrogel,thus causing the change of double-layer capacitance value.We first studied the preparation methods of carbon foam and carbon foam/hydrogel composites,obtained the optimal process parameters,and characterized and tested their microstructure and mechanical properties.The sensitivity,stability and fatigue resistance of carbon foam/hydrogel composites were investigated.The results show that the sensitivity of the material to vertical pressure can reach 2.33,and the sensitivity to tensile deformation is 0.67,with good stability.At the same time,this material has good mechanical properties,good flexibility and fatigue resistance,low preparation cost,simple preparation method,it is expected to be used in the flexible sensor.
