After the disintegration of the former Soviet Union as the main successor,Kazakhstan has always been committed to the development of their economies and improve their position in the international arena.Kazakhstan has got lots of revenue, gold and foreign exchange reserves through the export of raw materials, such as oil and gas.In the second quarter of 2014,international crude oil prices style cliff fall,Kazakhstan's economy has been badly affected, and domestic political economy is no longer stable. This paper reviews the history and development status of the oil and gas industry in Kazakhstan, and its oil and gas industry occupies a major position in the national economy of the country. The study found that Kazakhstan's GDP,employment levels and social welfare are subject to changes in the international oil price fluctuations,a positive correlation. The impact of the development of Kazakhstan's oil and gas industry on the national economy of Kazakhstan is analyzed.Studies show that the rapid growth of GDP is mainly reflected in the aspects of stimulating consumption level, foreign and domestic investment, national tax and wage growth, and the development of the trade market.Meanwhile,In the period when the international oil price plummeted and remained sluggish, the residents' life, social development and resident population suffered negative impacts and vice versa. Finally, the paper empirically analyzes the negative impact of Kazakhstan's oil and gas industry on the national economy. The study started with the three main manifestations of "Dutch disease",including the exchange rate of KZT(Kazakhstan Tenge),wages and foreign investment. The results show that the KZT exchange rate has risen with the rise of international oil prices, and wages have also been positively correlated with the international oil prices. The foreign investment mainly concentrates on energy sources Industry,Kazakhstan does have "Dutch disease." In addition, the prosperity of the oil and gas industry has caused "de-industrialization" in Kazakhstan, and the industrial structure and trade structure are no longer in balance.
