Heavy and light oil mixing transportation process has been used in the Fengcheng heavy crude pipeline.The diluent is a diesel distillate from Karamay Petrochemical Corp.The mixing ratio is 25%.The design throughput is 500×104t/a.The current heavy crude production has been significantly lower than that at the design stage,which makes the throughout of pipeline less than half of the design value.Besides,the physical properties of heavy crude have also changed greatly,compared with the design stage and the early stages of pipeline operation.So the operating condition of the pipeline has a great deviation from the design,which brings some hidden dangers to the safe operation and production management of the pipeline.Therefore it is of great significance to study the Fengcheng heavy crude pipeline operation of low throughput scheme.In this paper,viscosity temperature characteristic test of recent mixed oil has been carried out.A model has been established by using SPS software,which is used to simulate the Fengcheng heavy crude pipeline operation of low throughput transmission scheme.For winter and summer,the allowable minimum throughput under different mixing ratios is determined.Based on the actual situation and operation experience of the pipeline,the minimum energy consumption of the pipeline is taken as the objective function,and an enumeration method is used to determine the steady state optimization operation scheme of the pipeline under the low throughput.The initial station does not start the heating furnace,which will save about 50%of the fuel cost compared with the existing actual operation plan.
