Prophase Research On Light-weight High-strength Drill Pipes In Ultradeep Drilling

This paper investigates the data of special light-weight high-strength steel drill pipe,aluminum alloy drill pipe,titanium alloy drill pipe and carbon fiber composite drill pipe in detail,and summarizes relevant researches both at home and abroad.The physical and chemical properties of special light-weight high-strength steel drill pipe and aluminum alloy drill pipe which have been industrialized are studied.The anti-corrosive performance of these drill pipes and the structures of tool joints and threads are studied.The performance of the two drill pipes and the suitable application conditions are analyzed.According to the research results and drilling histories,the considerations of two drill pipes in deep well drilling and the applicable well conditions are analyzed,and their development directions and application suggestions are put forward.A New type of special light-weight high-strength drill pipe,titanium drill pipe,is studied.The main physical and chemical,the anti-corrosive performance,and the structure of tool joint and thread are analyzed.The performance of the drill pipe and the suitable application conditions are also analyzed.According to the research results and drilling histories,the considerations of titanium alloy drill pipe in ultradeep well drilling and suitable well conditions are analyzed.Future development directions and application suggestions are proposed.Based on the ultra-deep well experience drill string combination in Tarim Oilfield,this article set up ideal conditions,and put forward several drill strings for a depth of 9000 ~ 10000 m,which passed strength check.However,the reliability of the results needs to be further verified in future field practice.
