Among the reservoirs currently under development,thick oil reservoirs occupy a certain proportion,and these reservoirs basically have the characteristics of “thickness and strong heterogeneity”.For the development of thick oil layers,water flooding is mainly used.Due to the influence of thickness and heterogeneity,the evaluation of the wave coefficient of water flooding in thick oil layers mainly takes place from the vertical wave coefficient.Therefore,the evaluation of the development of the vertical sweep efficiency of thick oil layers is very important for the overall decision-making of thick oil reservoirs.In this paper,firstly,a physical simulation experiment was used to calculate the influence of thickness,rhythm,viscosity,displacement speed,and completion method on the vertical sweep efficiency of thick oil layer.The numerical simulation experiment was based on five points.In the well network,the vertical sweep on the mainstream and the degree of overall utilization,the two main controlling factors of reservoir thickness and formation rhythm were studied,and other sensitive factors(viscosity,density)were analyzed;Block data,fitting and carrying out the numerical simulation of the actual block,proposed countermeasures and optimization of the development method.Studying the vertical sweep propagation of thick oil layers provides a theoretical basis for the ultimate improvement of the sweep factor and the adjustment of potential tapping measures.At the same time,it has certain guiding significance for the development of ZD thick oil reservoirs through the adjustment of injection and production relations.
