Microcapsules with porous structure on the shell is one of the most promising functional materials due to their competitive properties such as low density,large specific surface area,favorable permeability shell and accommodating the guest molecules,which can lead to a wide variety of surface-related potential applications including catalysis,nano-reactor,drug delivery and controlled release,adsorption and separation,and so on.In most situations,the enclosed microcapsules and the thick microcapsules shell could cause the high mass transfer resistance.The mass transfer rate for substrate?s?/product?s?can be improved by forming open-mouthed macropores on the mesoporous microcapsules shell.In addition,the open-mouthed nanostructure,the fully exposed inner surfaces are beneficial to sufficient functionalization and can enhance uptake capacity on the inner surface of microcapsules.Janus anisotropic particles,especially with the characteristics of different chemical properties,such as basicity/acidity,hydrophobicity/hydrophilicity,and so on,possess a distinguished platform for applications in multifarious fields.Consequently,it is of utmost meaningful to combine the outstanding performances of open-mouthed microcapsules and Janus character.1.We designed and prepared hierarchical porous Janus SiO2 microcapsules?HPJMs SiO2?based on linear polystyre ne?PS?@SiO2 core/shell co mpositemicrospheres.The as-synthesized HPJMs SiO2 in one single unit is thesubtle integration of open-mo uthed?macropore?structure,ultrathin shellwith mesoporous,hollow structure and multi-functiona lity.The reduction of4-nitrophenol?4-NP?to 4-aminophenol?4-AP?with NaBH4 was chosen as amodel reaction for researching the catalytic performances of Au@HPJMsNH2-SiO2-CH3.The catalytic performance of HPJMs NH2-SiO2-COOH wasinvestigated by cascade reaction.In addition,we can achieve the regulation of themorphology of microcapsules by adjusting the amount of ammonia,TEOS andwater.2.The sulfonated PS microspheres acted as cores to prepare PS@TiO2 core/shellcomposite microspheres by sol-gol process.Then,the combining method of theregional-selective modification and removing the template after swelling wasadopted to prepare hierarchical porous Janus TiO2 microcapsules.In addition,theeffects of different good solvents and sulfonation time on the morphology ofmicrocapsules were investigated.3.The sulfonic functionalized PS colloidal crystal microspheres template acted ascores to prepare PS@TiO2 core/shell colloidal crystal composite materials bysol-gol process.The individual PS@TiO2 core/shell composite mocrospheres with12 contact sites were prepared by scatterring.And then,hierarchical porous TiO2microcapsules with twelve open structures were prepared by removing the PStemplate with good solvent or the CLPS@TiO2 composite colloid materials wereprepared by swelling polymerization.
